An excellent performance from Jessica Biel and a satisfying conclusion make up for the slightly bumpy ride in getting there making this a worthwhile watch for fans of crime drama.

There is a huge plot hole in the story that spoils otherwise very good cast, atmosphere and pace. Show is made from a book which might have the same problem but nevertheless it is just not acceptable that such script flaws are produced nowadays. Is there anyone paying attention? Often it is the case in crime mystery. The "unveiling" of the mystery is so dumb that viewer feels even more stupid for investing the time in watching it. Hyper-production does not breed quality. This is more prevalent in new streamers than in traditional TV. Not sure if it has to do with lack of knowledge and experience in production? I am really cautious with anything freshly produced as it is 9 out of 10 not prime time material.

Top detective series. If you like thrillers like zodiac, seven, true detective(first season), you will like like this a lot, totally recomended.

This is more of a review of season 3, but first i'll just say season 1 was pretty good, had great moments, probably an 8. Season 2 was okay, more of a 7. The RT review page states The Sinner season 3 is about "toxic masculinity". That's cute. What a simplistic and biased way to look at it. No, Season 3 is about death. Death, talking about, learning about, and dealing with death. And the existential crisis of one man, on to another, on to another. Death is something each and everyone of us will deal with throughout our lives, and most of the time we try to hide it away. Or find ways to pretend it's all ok. Or that it won't happen to us. THAT is what season 3 is about, and i think it's a riveting, well acted, well directed, and well written season. 10/10, great stuff.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

I really love the show. It's very moving and keeps you interested until the very last **** not the biggest fan of Bill Pullman in some scenes but he does a decent job overall.

Jessica Biel is a master class producer, and this is her best acting role (Season 1) to date.

Not even Bill Pullman can save such manipulative scripting shot through with implausibilities. I barely made it through Season One and wish I hadn't. Torturous.

Season 1: Starts out intriguing, creates an interesting enigma, but gradually collapses under the characters’ strange and irrational behavior, and several plot holes. The last two episodes are told With a lot of too drawn-out scenes which makes you want to fast-forward since it is obvious what is going to happen.

Fantastic show, dark, entertaining, clever. Season 1 and 2 differ quite a lot from 3 which is why (I assume) people give very mixed reviews to that one but I enjoyed all three of them.

The first one or two episodes of each season are usually quite intriguing and suspensful. Then it rapidly devolves into some kind of long drawn, brooding nonsense littered with psychological mumbo jumbo or, laughably simplistic and clichéd musings on Nietzschean philosophy as in season 3. So points for Ep 1 and 2 and 0 for the rest.

A detective series. Ever read a good mystery book and wish it wasn't over? This series is so engaging when watching with family. The theories abound. Emotions are tugged. This is like a detective version of House. High praise indeed!
