This was one of the best Shows I watched on Netflix. I watched other shows/movies with the main character just to see if that was his actual personality. It isn't! The woman cop is a strong female character who grounds the other guy. I just loved the story line, the acting, everything.

Voici le remake de la série danoise aux Etats-Unis, du copié-collé sans vergogne et sans âme… d’autant que la talenteuse et jolie actrice danoise a été remplacée par un thon qui a la fraîcheur d’une endive périmée… sans parler de son collègue qui a l’air d’un junkie demeuré. Entre violons et jeu de fausses pistes, bavardages à n’en plus finir, brassage de vide et tempête dans un verre d’eau tiède, cette série se révèle très vite ultra-chiante et ultra-banale sur un rythme de tortue qui fait passer les Columbo pour des thrillers passionnants. Pour roupiller rapidement devant la télé, c’est une daube de série idéale, donc !

TV drama series at its very best. I won't waste time going over how each aspect of the production of The Killing is excellent. I will say that Mireille Enos in the role of Sarah Linden an experienced homicide detective and Joel Kinnaman in the role of Stephen Holder a rookie homicide detective was some of the best acting I have experienced. I'm trying to think of some weakness within this series - but, I can't think of one.
