For all the predictable one-liners, pratfalls and canned laughter clotting the pilot, there are some funny riffs down the line.

Nothing about the pilot of "Teachers" is particularly eye- or ear-opening.

A lame, uninspired faculty farce.

Seriously lacking in laughs.

This sitcom isn't wacky in an amusing way. It's wacky in a way that makes you want to see it whacked.

Easily the lamest new sitcom all season... [it] manages an entire half-hour without a single viable joke.

i gave this a great review already- i am giving another one. People give this show a negative? Look deep - the acting is amazing. Imagine having to act these characters? Phenomenal! Great acting. and i have not laughed so hard in years. This show is cutting edge, clever and sharp. thank you TV Land for allowing to air cutting edge comedy. I love this show!!! The writing is excellent too.
