Its characters may be idiots (every single one of them, no exceptions), but they’re well-meaning, expertly performed and treated with warmth by Demetriou’s script – even when speaking absolute rubbish.

The cast is exceptional, but we know their rhythms now. ... However, any doubts that the series would not live up to its predecessors is dispelled in the second episode. ... Sublime.

It was the well-defined characters and their loveable, idiosyncratic quirks that made the return to Stath’s innocent world such a delight.

Some lines fell flat and to enjoy this show you have to have a high tolerance for slapstick. ... It's early days and the laughs may not sustain a whole series, but it looks promising.

The first episode may have been a bit of a fixer-upper opportunity, with a bit more of that satirical edge Stath Lets Flats could develop into a very sought-after property indeed.

It’s a pretty accurate portrait of the capital’s ongoing housing crisis, where no amount of agent bullshit can hide the fact that a horrid hole costs stupid money. Those – along with the characters and performances – are the ticks, the “it’s not too far to the tube”, and “it has a nice feel to it”. Nice observations in the writing, too. ... But then there’s the damp – the fact it only goes somewhere new geographically, rather comedically. And the pokiness – the heavy reliance on physical comedy.

This show is one of my absolute favourites. Jamie Demetriou is so funny and his acting is superb. Despite the lack of plot, almost everything that his character, Stath, says is comedy gold. The three-season comedy follows the life of a hapless letting agent as he tours people around properties and navigates the difficulties of countless situations.
