The show remains intelligently written and remarkably well acted, but there's a sense that it's marking time.

At some point, however -- and that point is the first episode in this fourth season -- it all becomes too much, too arch, too ridiculous and trying and forced. Worse, perhaps, is the sense that not enough effort has been put in, not enough of the tightrope-walking brilliance of the first three seasons shines through.

Ken Tucker is a ****. One does not simply give a score of 42 to one of the greatest television series of all time. Season 4 is as good as all the previous seasons. SFU still rocks.

Ruth and George enjoy the ‘honeymoon’ period of their marriage, whilst Claire is upset at Nate for not attending the wedding. David accompanies Nate to recover Lisa's body, but Nate clashes with Lisa's family over her funeral wishes. By this stage a few of the main characters had started to become a little unlikeable at times, but the standard of the writing and quality of the cast never really declined and so this fourth season continued to be a dark, yet intriguing, watch.

A formaldehyde fog has settled over 'Under' -- it envelops you with a serenity that used to be unsettling (the very point of a series about a family of neurotic funeral-home inhabitants) but now seems more like smothering.

fantastic stuff despite no longer being as biting as it had been ,a tonal decline doesn't ruin what the story has to say., confronting ptsd ,sex and love with a then unprecedented sincerity

Melhorou um pouco em relação à 3° temporada. Destaque para o 5° episódio, no qual Michael C. Hall atua como ninguÃm. Era o gás que a sÃrie precisava. Sem falar em Frances Conroy sempre roubando a cena.
