Season 2 comes back stronger with none of the inconsistencies of the first but all of its best qualities. Fortunately reducing the multiple instances of racism it actually attempts to give Mae depth beyond hot tempered Vietnamese lady. Josh's mother steals the show! Her portrayal of bipolar is so affecting and real and her battle with her depression is the most realistic thats been on television in a long time
