The second season of this Aussie crime drama/comedy hits all the high notes just like the first season did. While it maintains it's wicked & dark sense of humour along with the sheer brutality of what Ray does, this season also adds a surprisingly beautiful touch of warmth and heart. One of the best shows on TV today.

Scott Ryan’s Mr Inbetween is a mix between Barry and Ray Donovan. It has Ray Donovan’s violent solutions to obstacle in the environment but also Barry’s comedy of being a hired killer who face absurd circumstances. He is always on top of all male bullies but can have unexpected power struggles with young women, especially his daughter whom he loves unconditionally. The dialogue is often very funny and unpredictable. An unpredictable show that is a highly entertaining watch.

Mr Inbetween’s second season continues to brilliantly walk the delicate tightrope of showing the brutality of Ray's ‘work’, whilst simultaneously giving enough glimpses of his humanity for the audience to not completely turn against him. It’s also quite often very funny, and great credit has to be given to writer and star Scott Ryan for what he has created.
