“Hunters” is a mind blowing romp that packs an emotional punch. It just might be the best Amazon TV series yet.

While there’s still five more episodes left for the series to make a topical point about the re-proliferation of Nazis, so far “Hunters” is more concerned with spinning a good yarn. Its sturdy construction should be able to deliver on that front, but it remains to be seen if it leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

I thoroughly enjoyed the show bad accents aside! I especially liked the injections of humor in off beat Tarantino-esque ways. I loved the fact that they used historical facts like "Operation Paperclip" with a non fictional twist. I do have gallow humor so I probably found things to be funny that weren't. But to me it was enjoyable with good plot twists.

Hunters is a very polarizing show, you can tell by the terms many of the critics have used, "Jew Producer" , "Colored cast" ect.. As a person who had family members in the dutch resistance " Catholic Dutch citizens", who fought the **** by any means at their disposal, we must not forget the barbarity of the ****, Hunters achieves that and much more, entertaining and relevant I applaud the cast and members of the production.

Schlock it may be, but it's schlock of the watchable variety.

When it isn’t plumbing a well of agony and loss, Hunters wants to be an arch thriller-comedy of unlikely allies, a tone that clashes with the series’s more serious, mournful inquests. In the five episodes I’ve seen, Weil struggles to find the show’s balance, hitting really resonant notes in one stretch of an episode before clanging into leaden Tarantino-lite territory in the next.

That's Hunters: the waste of a heavyweight cast on a smarmy, smart-assed and sportively sadistic wallow in 1970s anti-Nazi paranoia. As violent and tasteless as any Quentin Tarantino project (and yes, Inglorious Basterds is definitely a point of reference) but without the underlying talent, Hunters' only likely achievement is triggering a wave of common prayers across religions and cultures for the continued good health of Pacino so that this mess isn't remembered as his last project.

Meyer’s group is filled out with a collection of second- and third-hand caricatures, not types taken from movies but types taken from movies about movies. ... Breaking the fourth wall is meant to be a moment of confrontation, but by that point, the show has made it all but impossible for anyone to see themselves in its overwrought depictions.

Spectacularly misbegotten. ... Neither the moral deliberations of “Hunters” nor its technical prowess are adequate to its ambitions.

Its an ok show with an interesting idea but there are several problems I can not overlook. The first, and in my opinion most important one, is the German that is spoken by presumably native speakers is horrible! It makes me laugh in situations I most definitely should not laugh. I think they should have either invest in actual German actors or stick to English. Also Joh Radnor is more than irritating, as he either has no acting range at all or used it all on the character of Ted Mosby. He simply doesn't fit!

Cringeworthy. Horrible caricatures of Jewish people. Incorrect use of Hebrew. Ridiculous story line. The flashbacks were hard to watch.

I'm a bit disgusted. About 6 million Jews died in the camps. Even more Russians, Poles, gypsies and Ukrainians also died there. Not one word is said about these victims. As if they didn't exist.

IT´s a bad show, and it´s a shame because it has really potential... with a good performances and very good setting of the 80´s, also a decent cast... But the mix between violence and slow thriller doesn´t work.. Also, the jews complaining about their poor history, telling the same tale again "the victims of the Hollocaust" feels repetitive. Yes **** are bad, and yes some of them lived in America, but you can see the hand of jew Hollywood producer´s in a atemp to bring back "the jews rocks" so clearly, (there is litteraly hundreds of cuotes saying almost the same) that it is boring. It has a bad pace, bad characters, non believeble history lines... but good photography and actors. As I said, it´s a shame. This show can be only good for someone who hates ****, and doesn´t care about hearing an exaggerate/extravagant real history.
