The first few seasons are great, but the show has become a shell of its former shelf with Characters becoming parody versions of themselves and the Jokes becoming unfunny that said modern family guy is perfect to watch in clips as the random moments from cutaways to gags work best in that format

This show was funny in the first four seasons. After these four seasons. The show started to be unfunny. To this day, family guy is still unfunny. Family guy is even using tiktok jokes that most old people won't get.

I have seen nearly every single episode of Family Guy. Much like the thing it tries to imitate, The Simpsons, it should be cancelled. While the writers occasionally manage to land a good joke, most of the jokes or comedic style are overplayed and cheap. Making fun of celebrities that I'm assuming are more relatable for the wealthy, the constant mockery of female characters (lest you become the thing you are trying to imitate in your battle for irony), and the overall lack of meaningful dialogue or plot are too painful to sit and watch for a 22 minute period. The continuation of the show steals runtime from new television shows that are struggling to rise, and in some cases, even the re-runs steal viewership on live television from brand new shows. I know that the show will fade away in my lifetime, but I hope it's sooner rather than later.
