The more you watch this show, the more it grows on you. I really enjoy this throwback to the 70s. You can't help but commiserate with Frank, who is always on edge for one reason or another!!

Classic 70s comedy, the show has built off season 1 and 2. Still dynamic relationships and Frank and Sue are dealing with having a new child and their other children growing up. Their new "awesome" neighbor Chet changes everything and causes additional strains on their relationship. I like the reality of their complex marriage and having to constantly deal with everyday life, including work, children and friendships. Pretty much a dark comedy but very easy to relate to for everyone. I look forward to Season 4 to draw from the changes in this season including the impending arrival that is sure to drive Frank crazy.

This has been the season for me as it did a great job of not just tying in the first two seasons but adding substantial new characters while furthering those of the already established. Binged it in a few days, the jokes are just as dark as ever and it left me really looking forward to the next season, hope they keep up the great writing.

If it wasn't for the non-stop yelling, this show would be pretty fantastic. It's relatable on several levels and there are some interesting, although at times almost unbelievably gullible, characters in it. But the incessant yelling, it's so head-ache inducing I almost can't watch it. I wouldn't mind a bit of yelling, it makes sense to have it. But it feels like it has a 80/20 yell to talk ratio. But it has heart, so I still watch it. I just hope they would tone down the yelling, just a bit. Sometimes they just seem to yell for no reason other than "That's just what we do on this show".
