Schlossberg, Hurwitz, and Heald were able to do the near-impossible by making this series as great as it is, and the fact that they've been able to maintain that same level of quality as the series nears its end just goes to show that Cobra Kai never dies.

The show has always been at its best when focusing on the characters, and the same applies in this season. Particularly great is the arc of Tory and Sam, and how their dynamic and relationship changes now that they are forced to be in the same team.

The final season didn't go they way I really expected. They wrapped up unfinished plot points, but kept the emotional desires from back to the first season and first movies. It directed how the series ends while having the characters grow and evolve. Well done and just extremely enjoyable. ESPECIALLY, an episode where Miyagi appears in a dream sequence.

As the series has gone on, the storylines have become far too familiar and repetitive. .... But then, like the underdog story the series is rooted in, Cobra Kai rises from the ashes to come out on top. By the end of the five episodes that premiere as part of this first tranche of the sixth season, the series delivers one heck of a cliffhanger.

With Kreese back in the center of the action, everyone working towards Sekai Taikai and an extended final season in 2024 and “final battle” in 2025 on the horizon, we can see Hurwitz, Schlossberg and Heald focusing and being able to bring Cobra Kai to the finish line with a funny, emotionally affecting story.

Quibbles aside, "Cobra Kai" Season 6 Part 1 brings more of what fans enjoy about the series, even if it does occasionally feel like it's running on autopilot, burning time until they can get to the Sekai Taikai.

Cobra Kai is at its most watchable when they’re mucking around together. But all the fun evaporates when the series focuses on the angsty teenagers under the crew’s leadership.

I’m all for characters sitting around and shooting the shit, but after the cartoonish high jinks that this show has managed to survive on for seven years, diehard fans of the Karate Kid universe will be none too happy with the comparative calm of part one.

Cobra Kai season 6 started off a bit silly, which is expected, but those final five episodes of the series really stuck the landing and showed why we loved this show so much. It had action, emotion, drama, and a lot of heart. We get to see near-perfect conclusions to these characters we’ve been following for the last 6 years and redemption for characters that have been a long time coming. In the end, Cobra Kai season 6 sent this world off in a great way, with a near perfect way to end the series in the final 5 episodes that really gave us a satisfying and enjoyable conclusion. The series overall was a fantastic return to many of our childhoods, giving us some corny, silly, fun with great heart behind it all. Brad: 9 Josh: 9.5 Final: 9

I really just wish they wouldve ended it after 5 seasons, and I really like this show. The 6th season just feels really forced and uneccesary. Show feels like it jumped the shark and this season just isn't all that interesting, the villians are the same ones they already defeated, not much more story here...
