گرافیک، موسیقی و نویسندگی‌ای در سطح متوسط دارد. در مجموع سه فصل، این اثر اقتباسی نسبتاً موفق از داستان‌های اساطیری یونان است هرچند شخصیت‌پردازی‌ها به‌طور کامل موفق نبوده‌اند. برخی صحنه‌ها برای رده بندی سنی مناسب نیستند. در مجموع با امتیاز 7.5 از 10، این انیمیشن در سطح متوسط انیمیشن‌های رده میانی قرار می‌گیرد

I have no idea why people ride this show so hard, it's honestly just "good," nothing more, nothing less. In regard to art, I like the character design for the most part, some characters look a bit generic, but overall, the artistic style is nice. Animation-wise, it comes off as stiff in some moments, but this just tends to be a trope of "American adult cartoons," Invincible and Castlevania both had this issue as well. Voice acting is fine, nothing to write home about, and dialogue can be kind've cringey at points. In regard to plot though, the pacing is absolutely horrendous, and it feels like characters just do things to advance the story, not because they had any ulterior motive in doing so. But my main issue with plot advancement is that some moments feel like Heron is on the verge of doom, only for the next moment, the problem resolves itself without any real threat. Characters are introduced at random, but don't feel like they add any real impact to the story, despite them becoming "core cast members." Season 2 saw some changes, for the better, but I would still hardly rate this even in the top 5 animated series. It certainly doesn't deserve the "perfect 100%" on Rotten Tomatoes, and definitely falls more in line with a high 6 to low 7 score. Overall, it's an enjoyable watch, but some moments completely lost my interest and had me wanting to just fast forward through.

[1ª Temporada]Blood of Zeus es una serie muy chula y muy potente. He de reconocer que obviamente estoy sesgado a favor de ella (me gusta más que Castlevania por ejemplo) en gran parte porque adoro la mitología antigua, la griega en especial. Así que ver a muchos de esos personajes a los que tanto cariño les tengo siempre es un plus (aún cuando se toman algunas "licencias" ocasionales un poco meh). La historia está muy bien, aunque como dicen al principio es un "mito que se perdió" (osea, que no es realmente una de las historias mitológicas), con momentos muy épicos, referencias chulas, combates bien hechos y, en general, una animación bastante buena. Quizás como punto más flojo son algunas tomas y, sobretodo, los actores del doblaje (al menos en inglés) que en ocasiones se marcan algunas frases digamos que poco inspiradas para el momento. Pero, en general, es una serie que vale mucho la pena. [2ª Temporada]Y aquí es donde todo se tuerce, la segunda temporada es un desastre se mire como se mire. De los ocho capítulos se tiran más de la mitad con trasfondo e historias de orígen que ni importan ni son para personajes nuevos. La historia se centra en el poder del perdón, en una sucesión de moralinas que no van a ningún lado dentro de la mitología griega y que simplemente son de nuevo las ideas cristianas metidas con embudo. Los hechos, en su mayoría carecen de interés y pierden por completo el foco y la animación, aunque está bien como lo estaba antes, sigue palideciendo en comparación con otras cosas que han ido saliendo como Arcane o Blue Eyed Samurai. Sinceramente, con las ganas que tenía de esta segunda temporada, veremos si me veo la tercera.

What can I say about this amazing, amazing show? It is so damn good. The writing, the voice acting, the directing. It's all just world class storytelling. Do yourself a favor and watch it.

This show is a great depiction of Greek mythology (not totally loyal, but enough to bring us all this great culture all at once) and it guides you well through the lives and the events of the show. It builds up between plots but always showing the development of the characters, both human and non-human, delivering stories inside stories and saving us the bigger event, where it is not big for being big like most shows use to do, but because it was an actual build-up from the previous ones.

This is easily one of the best animated shows I've ever seen and I've seen tons. The writing and character development is incredible. Seraphim, Hades, Zeus, Hera are all such awesome characters. If you know Greek Mythology, you will absolutely love this.
