C’est une série à la fois entièrement ravagée de la tronche et complètement woke de partout avec tous les curseurs de la propagande woke poussés au maximum (SJW DEI LGBT avec également du féminisme haineux et vindicatif et du multi-culturalisme à sens unique et j’en passe **** avec même de manière quasi frontale si j’ose dire de la pédérastie inter-raciale !! c’est presque du porno bien dégueulasse en fait… sans compter une autre relation inter-raciale où une femme noire plutôt vieille et mal foutue (une quasi horreur, une sorte de vieille pute, je suppose) avale un vieux mâle blanc entièrement dans son vagin ?!)…La série est assez régulièrement de ce triste acabit, essayant de surfer sur la vague (ici nauséabonde) de l’ésotérisme fantastico-bizarro-satanico-horrifico… on ne sait trop quoi ou pour résumer, un ensemble définitivement merdique qui ne rime à rien. Car en effet, on n’y comprend rien à ce salmigondis aberrant, incohérent, qui se signale aussi très régulièrement par son mauvais goût **** remarque également un racisme à peine dissimulé et quasi systématique à l’égard de toutes les personnes blanches dans cette série qui ne fait que dérouler de la chiasse tartinée par des wokeux transgenrés aux cheveux bleus. C’est tellement n’importe quoi, tellement plein de mauvais goût qu’on se demande pourquoi ils ont dû payer aussi cher des scénaristes cocaïnomanes alors qu’en demandant au chat qui a pété, on fait moult économies pour un résultat… pas pire.Mais il est vrai que cette merdasse remonte à 2017 et a été produite par… Starz ?!… une boîte d’habitude pas autant wokisée que ça, ou du moins pas à ce point-là… que s’est-il passé ? c’était peut-être une commande de la part d’Amacon-Amawoke, la corpo américaine méga woke comme chacun sait. Mais bon, on s’en fout, on tire la chasse et puis c’est tout.

This show has everything that i like. Good acting, good story and mystery. Show i rewatch now and then.

Very good and very unique show. The story is interesting. Actors play very good. I really wish to see 4th season.

Absolutely amazing. I loved the book and was happy to see that the TV series did it justice. Too bad it was canceled before they got through the entire story. Fingers crossed for a movie to tie everything up a bit.

Having just seen Seasons 1-3 of American Gods, I'm heartbroken to learn that the show has been cancelled. Unlike some of the negative reviewers, I did not find this show confusing or believe that it suffered from a lack of explanation (the main character's story arc is literally him being thrown into a world he doesn't fully understand, hence the air of mystery). If this show had been on traditional broadcast television, I'd understand the cancellation. The plot moves somewhat slowly compared to other shows, because it takes time to contextualize the characters that Shadow meets, and the world he now finds himself in. And the show does that beautifully. Of course, this is coming from the perspective of someone who was able to watch each season consecutively, making the story and plot progression seem more cohesive than it would have been if there'd been a year or more wait time between seasons. From what I understand, the cancellation was mainly due to issues with the production company and Starz. Lack of funds, poor leadership, and a new showrunner each season. It's a shame because American Gods is one of the most interesting shows that I've seen in a long time. I'm really hoping that Amazon or another streaming service picks this show up now that Starz has abandoned it, because there is still so much story to be told.

American Gods is a show ideal for viewers that enjoy mythology, diversity and great production values across the board. It is pensive, it has witty humor and every single character reflects topical social commentaries within individually designed monologues (Mr.Nancy, Wednesday, Technical Boy etc.)I am a viewer that has experienced the show without having read the book, so I do not compare the two. With that said, the TV production has great performances from ALL the actors, the visual effects are astounding. American Gods is simply eye candy to any artist or sci-fi/fantasy buff. I truly hope Season 4 can be produced via another streaming network given that Starz has chosen to cancel this fantastic, binge worthy show.

Nice actors/acting. But weird story/script!! Sorry, not my kind of series. Maybe i'll watch it when im drunk or stoned (or both).

I read the books...generally follows the books but is WAY OVER THE TOP into woke black bs...exaggerated view of black history that is not true or realistic. Woke Trash.

It started off with a amazing premise but sadly you can see it get affected by the same thing every show between 2015 to 2019 got messed up with. Way too much writing around boring subjects that don't belong in SIFIs or Fantasies that were pushed in and made no connection to plot. Despite those typical flaws of todays shows I found my self able to catch up to current episodes.

One of those rare cases where the show/movie is better than the book. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the book (reminded me of Steven King and Paul Straub's The Talisman), but with Ian McShane in particular, it really brought a great interpretation of the book. The show looks fantastic and it hits all the marks in the book. I haven't seen season three yet, but 1 & 2 were pretty fun.

A very interesting show, i absolutely love it. Great casting and had me hooked til the end. After season 1 i ended up buying the book as i couldn't wait for the 2nd season. Even than i was happy as the show is different enough from the book that it still keeps you entertained.

Extremely confuse . I've never watched somethimg so weird in my life. Sometimes i even sleep trying to watch this. There are 1 or 2 episodes that worth it. Dont waste your time trying.

Terrible show. A bunch or weird **** they don’t explain anything whatsoever. Good luck trying to figure out wtf is going on. I’ve never watched every single episode of a show and still been so confused form Episode one to episode 8. A show rated so high I was expecting something good but man all I got was a bunch or weirdness with no explanation.
