Terrifier 2 is the 2022 sequel to the 2016 splatter horror film Terrifier and attempts to add more depth to the lore, but it feels haphazard. In this one we are introduced to a family consisting of a teenage girl Sienna and her younger brother Jonathan. Somehow, they have a supernatural connection to Art the Clown. Art stalks them, savagely butchering countless side characters along the way. The violence in this one is as wanton as it is in the other installments. The flick was alright but it did drag on a bit at the end and overstayed its welcome. Like the other Terrifier movies, number two had plenty of dark humor.

On the plus side more Art, more gore and more brutal kills.
on the negative - bad story, unlikable characters.

Don't have issues with the gore, it has some good effects and hits on the Halloween vibes. The movie is just mean-spirited to me.

Without a doubt, the best film in history. Damien Leone does a fantastic job here with the gore and the brutal kills committed by Art the Clown. The best part is that he doesn't even bother to explain anything, just little things everyone knows. The soundtrack, composed by Paul Wiley, is perfect. My final score is a 10.

The terrifier 2 was even creepier. The black and white silent clown is so creepy it’s hard to understand why not one runs when they see him. This movie is so creepy. The killing scenes are intense. I like the old film look to it. SFX can always be improve it my book but it was good.I would recommend this movie.

not bad movie, but not good either. The story is really miss & match, visual is decent, and the voice is also decent

Cruel, sadistic, mean, and hard not to love. I rarely ever feel bad for enjoying a movie as I do with this series. A refreshingly original spin on the slasher genre. With humor and creativity to spare, this film improves upon the original in many ways. Not for the faint of heart, but if you have the stomach for it & the karma to spare, this one’s a must watch.

The sequel, Terrifier 2, I think is not bad at all. The plot is well structured and explains what happened in the last post-credit scene. The deaths are disgusting; for that reason, I like it as well. I'm a big fan of slasher movies. It isn't perfect; there are some silly scenes with bad performances from the actors, but the overall is good.

Having heard about this series I decided to give it a go, and after barely being able to sit through the boring, lack luster, god awful trash that was the first film Ithought maybe the second was better, I was disappointed. I've been watching all kinds of horror films all my life, western horror and asian horror, I've watched hundreds of horror films of all kinds and can say without a shadow of a doubt this was the worst atrocity commited to the horror genre I've every experienced.combining the most boring and stupid surreal "plot" I've ever seen with god awful effects that look faker than something I could buy off of temu, this film was the hardest watch I've ever had to sit through, 2 hours of my life completely wasted on just a steam pile of utter trash. do not watch,

A higher budget follow up that really brings more of what people were expecting from the first one (gore) but with a notable amount of improvements in its story and characters as well.

Violent, gory, entertaining in a dark way, Terrifier 2 is a film that needs to be seen for horror movie aficionados. Definitely not recommended for those with weak stomachs.

I'm torn between: a) this is was a piece of ****, way too long, boring, b) really impressive ultra low budget film, and it's amazing that such a film had a theater run.further thoughts:- Why does every scene go on forever? Could Leone not afford an editor? (Maybe don't show Art trying on like ten pairs of sunglasses for a start)- Why the "80's filter"? The characters are using modern day tech, so this is exactly the same kind of **** Rodriguez pulled in PLANET TERROR. It's stupid and annoying. - The score was really nice though - The effects are really good for the budget level All in all, it was a slog to get through, I hated the look, I hated the "comedy", but the kills and music were quite good.

I'm happy. I really liked the first one so I was looking forward to the second one and it was great. I thought it was a little bit better than the previous one. The brutality was again and this time it was even a level higher, so really cool and I enjoyed it. It was a good carnage show. Story-wise it wasn't great, which was the catch with the previous installment as well, and this time it may not be a miracle, but it's still much better in my opinion. In short, what's better here is that it's more brutal. The bloody scenes of full on violence got me through the first one and the scenes of full on blood with violence are here again and I'd say even better, so I'm happy with that. The clown himself did not disappoint again. I'm very entertained. I'm really pleased. The film won me over. An enjoyable horror spectacle where you can quite switch off. Just watch the violence and enjoy it. I think it's a great sequel and I hope there's a third one. I don't know how it would raise the bar. The violence here has already been improved. Maybe just some more better story and a great horror movie would be in my eyes. The second installment for me improves on the aforementioned violence and I enjoyed that. Super brutal spectacle. I can recommend it to fans of brutality.

While it might not be as interesting as the original, Terrifier 2 is more of Art the Clown (who is one of the few slasher icons to wield guns). Art the Clown makes Pennywise look like a kind and civilized individual.

Was disappointed after watching the first movie, so i didn't expect much from the second movie. Tho gore, the clown and the actors were good. But the decisions the charakter made were as stupid as in the first movie. And in one scene it was not logic at all that the one person didn't fall in a coma after the first torture. No the character stayed awake and screamed until the clown finally killed him.
Every minute felt like wasting my time and 2h are way too long.

This movie, on the whole is entertaining, though there are some cringy moments. Art the clown is a creepy, scary, yet funny character who I thought was well acted. Art's sidekick, in my opinion is not necessary and felt a little tacked on. Sienna, the main character, is a good little actress but her brother Jonathan is terrible.... . Some of the scenes are super gory and well done, however other scenes go too far and become corny because of it. If you like slasher horror then I'd say it's worth a watch but don't let the kids see.

Loved every minute of it! Art the Clown is the new face of slasher horror. Can't wait for a 3rd movie!

This movie was just too bad to finish. Nonsense killing/gore way too exaggerated and no horror at all. The clown was funny at times, else was plain bad.

It is downright criminal for something this schlocky and stupid to be this long. This **** is only 7 minutes shorter than GOODFELLAS and for no reason at all. The over-the-top gore is super fun but whenever the clown isn't on screen this thing grinds to a halt. I spent about half of the movie trying to figure out if the acting, dialogue, and cinematography were all terrible on purpose. The film is certainly intentionally campy in ways and seems totally self-aware at some moments but it also takes itself way too seriously at other moments, and all the melodramatic family stuff should have been left on the cutting room floor. My viewing experience was a cycle of being totally checked out and hating the characters, then being won back over by some wild moment with the clown, rinse and repeat. But even the clown and the crazy violence grew tiring long before the end. There is a tipping point where the gratuitous torture can stop being fun and just feel gross and nihilistic, and Terrifier 2 crossed that line in a couple of scenes. It almost even feels a little misogynistic since the victims are mostly innocent young women but the movie clearly wants you to be rooting for the clown and reveling in his sadistic violence against them. Seems like a fundamental misunderstanding of why the best slasher movies work.

This movie has a **** plot but it's good, it's a bit funny, it has its gore moments.
It can be a bit bad but you manage to empathize more with this protagonist than with the others.
In conclusion, it is a film that is neither good nor bad, being low budget it makes it more laughable than scary.

This movie is so gross and repelling, whoever made this must have serious metal illness, or maybe just a pervert.
This is not a movie, it’s just garbage.

Terrifier 2 is low-budget gore crap. It's okay because the movie doesn't seek to be serious but unlike "Killer Klowns from outer space" this film is not funny at all. The deaths are fine but they did not generate anything for me, which is why I did not achieve their promise with me. The worst of the year!

Terrifier 2 didn't quite live up to the success of the first film, however it was still a gory great time again. The addition of "magic" in the plot was not explained well and it felt very out of place.

Couldn’t recommend this enough, full well knowing a majority of people will hate it! Pinnacle grindhouse, morally bankrupt violence, made by people who are clearly passionate for the genre. It’s the most disturbing and perverted display I have ever seen, but keeps within the realm of acceptability by its over-the-top, zany and nonsensicality, which keeps this grounded entirely. Even more ludicrous is how good the soundtrack is, despite not fitting the films profile (like, at all) it absolutely works! These are the gambles I like to see be taken in cinema. This is certainly a cult classic.

It seems like terrifier 2 should be the original and terrifier 1 should be the sequel. Terrifier 2 is definitely not better than the original and plot wise the story told on itself before the ending. And about the ending. It really overstayed it's welcome, and I saw it coming a mile away. It's gory but not at all scary and after terrifier 1 and all the hype I heard over terrifier 2, I really expected better. Sorry. But whatever they were hoping for, they missed me with this one. They could have kept this because I was extremely disappointed. 5/10. Average, with a predictable story that tells on itself how it's going to end

This was such a fun movie. I had a great time watching Art the Clown stab, clobber, and rip people apart for the entire runtime. Although his actions were completely depraved, I found him to be extremely hilarious at times. The gore and all the messed up flesh was also pretty realistic and the film looks pretty good for such a low budget slasher film too. I thought Lauren LaVera was really good as the lead character and I enjoyed her presence. I was ready to get up and leave several times during the finale after I thought all the carnage was over but it kept going and going. Still had a great time.

Well hyped but really just a modern version of an 80s schlock horror. The effects are better as you'd expect but not a lot more. Art the clown is a fairly bland, uninteresting antagonist and nothing was graphic to a degree that was actually disturbing.

If you enjoyed Terrifier 1 as much as I did, you are in for a treat. The gore and violence is even more shocking in the sequel. It feels as if an episode of Stranger Things was merged with Terrifier 1, and I am ok with that. Only significant negative is the movie feels a bit too long, though make sure you stay for the end credit scene. Eagerly awaits Terrifier 3!
