This is a violent film. It's rougher, in fact, than "The Hunger Games."

love it, just love it!!! the acting, scenery, body tension and language oh wow i just love it! best film ever!!!!!!!!!! i know some people don't like Kristen Stewart but i love her because the way she only uses a few facial expressions really emphasizes her purity and innocence. The huntsman is such a great character; strong, brave and fearless on the outside but troubled, mournful and has a need to be loved on the inside. The evil queen is just superb! she is so amazing that even when she isn't speaking you are scared of her! i would recommend this to anybody over the age of 11, no younger because it has quite a dark, gruesome plot with lots of violence and blood loss ha ha ha. but this is by far the best film i have ever seen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you've a mind to see a classic fairy tale rendered as an action movie, and if you want to see a sizeable handful of fine English actors have grand fun playing grizzled dwarves, there are worse ways to spend two hours than in the company of Snow White and the Huntsman.

It's Theron who owns this film, imbuing her deliciously depraved Queen with furious pain and deep-seated fear.

Some of the fairy tale effects are marvelous; but the odyssey from darkness to light is unduly long and sloggy, and Stewart, with her contemporary edge, seems to be acting in the wrong era.

What dooms Snow White and the Huntsman is ultimately not how over the top it is, but how dull it is.

Overlong, overcrowded, overstimulating and with an over-the-top performance by Charlize Theron as the evil queen Ravenna, the movie is a virtual orchard of toxic excess, starting with the unnecessarily sprawling cast of characters.

Interesting twist on an old original This film was much more entertaining than I had expected. Great story, wonderful visuals and the cast worked quite well together.

The stagnant machinery of a fractured fairytale: A 3.0-star "vivid" but hollow drift through grey aesthetics.20120526 (3.0)I watched "Snow White and the Huntsman" in the theater in 20120526 , and it remains a functional 3.0-star record in my archive—a "vivid" but ultimately safe exploration of grim fantasy that failed to provide a visceral "revelation." While the production attempted a "sensational" and high-tension reimagining of the classic story by infusing it with a "raw" and muddy warrior spirit, the narrative rhythm felt 100% inconsistent, following a slow-burning trajectory that lacked the "chewy" intellectual depth found in my 5.0-star pillars. Seeing the "vivid" presence of Charlize Theron—whose "sensational" portrayal of the Queen provided a rhythmic surge of "human distrust"—against the "pathetic" and "stagnant" performance of Kristen Stewart created a jarring cinematic friction. Although the visual effects were "vividly" impressive, the emotional payoff felt too "stagnant" for a story attempting such a "raw" and turbulent tone, leaving me in a state of "silent frustration" at its inability to commit to its own darkness. The 95% preservation of my memory is centered on the "stagnant" pacing of the dark forest and the "sensational" visual of the mirror melting, creating a journey that felt more like a "stagnant" ritual of style over substance. Unlike the "vivid" soul of "Batman" (1989) or the "raw" tension of "The Machinist," this theatrical encounter provided no permanent, "sensational" scar on my soul, leaving me in a state of "silent frustration" at its "stagnant" reliance on aesthetic gloom. It stands in my 2012 record as a "vivid" exercise in fantasy production—a 3.0-star artifact of rhythmic unevenness that remained too "stagnant" to reach the "sensational" heights of my most cherished psychological archives.

İlk izlediğimde daha çok beğenmiştim sanırım ama son izlediğimde biraz hayal kırıklığına uğradım. Potansiyeli olup ulaşamamış yapımlardan kendisi.

I'm sorry, but as much as I wanted to try and enjoy this film, I couldn't bring myself to really enjoy it. It wasn't very exciting, the writing was not great, and while half the cast does a good job, half the cast doesn't do very well. Sure, it's well shot, but unfortunately, I found it to be a bit of a snooze-fest. Some people might honestly find the movie to be pretty enjoyable, but I personally feel that if you skip out on "Snow White and the Huntsman," you won't be missing much.
