Scrambled has razor-sharp wit, with McKendrick driving the film with an energy that is both feisty and vulnerable, reminding one of Portia DeRossi in "Arrested Development," but with a thoughtfulness that evokes "Sex and the City."

Scrambled will make you text your ex — or former Hinge hookup with a “hey stranger” — but in the end, you’ll feel confident knowing your best self is still just dancing on your own. Here’s to that.

Nellie's world may feel scrambled, but McKendrick knows where she is going and how to take us with her.

It would be hard to understate how intensely lovable Scrambled is.

The ending feels way too cookie-cutter perfect. Scrambled is a worthwhile experience, though, as it is a personal tale that aims to empower through laughter.

Scrambled is a lot of fun when it’s not trying to also deliver uplift, but it ultimately proves that white, middle-class American women in their 30s can can defeat any obstacle that stands between them and the unfettered life they want, except screenwriting convention.

For fellow millennial women or women who have felt the crunch of a "ticking biological clock", this is a must watch. Sure, there are few stereotypical tropes in terms of the men in the movie as well as some of the women the main character Nellie finds herself friends with, but overall I found Scrambled thoroughly enjoyable, humorous, emotional, and **** a time when many millennial women are being more intentional in finding their "one", figuring out themselves, and starting a family, there isn't much space to have public conversations on planning for pregnancy or even the loss and heartbreak of **** you're a male or someone older than a millennial, this may not be the movie for you. But even if you don't fall in the very specific demographic this movie aims to target, there's still room for a few laughs and a little learning that being a woman often means very hard decisions and pressures that society likes to not talk about.0 out of 1 found this helpful

Solid humor and performances throughout this raunchy comedy with a decent sized heart at its core. The ending more serious act is probably a little oversized.
