Like a stumpy limb requiring quick cauterization via steam pipe (our first cringe), the Saw series is begging for closure.

For me, this is definitely one of the best films in the series, you know....

Production values from designer Anthony A. Ianni are matter-of-fact with the exception of standout effects from key make up artist Colin Penman and his staff. Its cast is fairly forgettable with the exception of Saw veteran Tobin Bell as Jigsaw and Cary Elwes as Gordon.

The original "Saw" was smart enough to tease its audience, to literally restrain its characters and gradually dial up the dread, setting the table for a truly shocking twist. The latest just wants bigger and bigger bangs.

There's also no point in paying the 3-D ticket price for occasional bits of gristle flying your way, or blurry action shots. Whereas the first "Saw" got marks for originality, the filmmakers have so lost their fastballs that this one's extreme gore provokes either laughter or sleep.

Saw 3D es una película que muestra un gran historia en su sipnosis, en donde todo está bien planeado para ejecutarse y así mantiene un buen ritmo de acción y emoción en el film.

First this movie was called Saw 3D. Then it wasn't in 3D. Then it was called Saw: The Final Chapter. Then it wasn't the final chapter. What do we call it now? Also, quit it with the big twists. I'm pretty sure the sixth is the only one where it made any sense. And now they just followed up their best twist with their dumbest twist.

This is not good. Pretty much the goofiest of the series. Nice to see the story go full circle but overall not worth watching. The first three in this series are the only ones worth watching. The effects are pretty gory and look solid but it doesn't seem to dwell as much on the pain unlike others in the series. The acting is fine. The pace is okay. Nothing special but also not totally broken.

And finally, we come to the absolute worst entry in the franchise: "Saw: The Final Chapter". It's boring, generic, and incoherent. The traps were awful, the characters were forgettable, and the story was cliché. Coming from a huge Saw fan, this film was absolutely terrible.
