RM: Right People, Wrong Place

incredible masterpiece, i totally get why it's the most acclaimed Korean soloist album yet.

RM: Right People, Wrong Place isn’t just a documentary—it’s an intimate window into the soul of an artist. This film doesn’t rely on spectacle or fanfare. Instead, it leans into the quiet moments, the stillness, and the spaces in between where real humanity lives. It’s about connection, solitude, and what it means to create from a place of truth. RM's passion and love for art, for people, for fleeting moments—shine through every frame. The documentary gives us a deeper look beyond the surface, showing a deeply introspective artist, constantly questioning and trying to make sense of the world around him. It’s not just about music or fame—it’s about identity, belonging, and what it means to feel both rooted and lost at the same time.

El documental Right People Wrong Person muestra las emociones más puras y sinceras del artista RM, junto a su equipo de trabajo lograron transmitir las emociones creadas durante el proceso de su álbum del mismo nombre.

The documentary RM: Right People, Wrong Place looks pretty but doesn't provide any context to KPop, RM or even the making of his album. Events in the making of the album don't seem to be presented in any chronological or thematic order, so the sequence of scenes is quite confusing at times. The biggest flaw is that RM's collaborators are not introduced in any way: who they are and why he chose to work with them is left unexplained and unexplored. This documentary definitely could have been edited better. If you are already a huge fan, have an encyclopedic knowledge of the subject and adore the album, you will probably enjoy it. Otherwise you will probably get a bit impatient.
