Premonition

The star and the more overwrought aspects of the plot are mainstream but the philosophical implications will not appeal to those who prefer easily digestible cinematic portions. It's also true that the more deeply one considers the movie's themes and structure, the less sense it makes.

Premonition is an odd little thing, with a protagonist in a protracted fugue state and a plot that doesn't know whether its coming or going. Or maybe it does.

Had it been easier to comprehend at the beginning, there's no telling how bad Premonition might have been.

The usually likable Bullock, obstructed by glaring continuity problems and often baffling character motivation, comes across as unsympathetically dazed and confused here, giving the viewer little reason to care about this desperate housewife's puzzling predicament.

Although Premonition is not a frightening movie, it is aimed squarely at an audience of frightened souls.

This is a much dumber movie than "The Lake House." In fact, the script is an ungainly mess and ultimately a shaggy-dog story.

The real horror here is watching Sandra Bullock drop her big Miss Congeniality smile to A-C-T! She does this by not smiling. What happened to the range she showed in "Crash" and "Infamous?"

For me it was a pretty decent thriller with some psychological tension and rather good storyline and concept (I mean that random days|events that happened to Linda and which she marked in the improvised calendar). Sandra Bullock's performance was pretty nice and convincing.

This movie is a story that may seem a bit difficult to understand. The plot is based on an abnormal time phenomenon in which Linda Hanson (the main character, played by Sandra Bullock) lives a week with the days out of order (Monday, then Thursday, then Tuesday, got the idea ?). If this sounds crazy, believe me, the character will seem even more lost than we are. To make matters worse, this week her husband's death happens and she spends her days trying to avoid it. I will not lie: the film seems confusing but its not so much because we will understand everything as the action takes place, but it never explains the reason and the means by time got so distorted, and that makes things a bit pointless. Sandra Bullock is very good and did what we expecting from her, but she carries the film on her own because the rest of the cast is pretty poor and gives her little support. So, what we have in the end is a film that oscillates between the supernatural and the sci-fi, with an unclear theme, a good love story and some creative drama, brightened by a single good and competent actress.

Sincere am but the movies that starred Sandra Bullock this was the worst , but always give support to the most beloved actress in the world and already showed his excellent talent in Gravity. Go Sandra !
