I had no idea about the original series, but I liked this one a lot. The jokes are sometimes gross, but hillarious if you accept this kind of humor. One of the best comedies seen recently.

I didn't take the franchise seriously, but this final episode is the most mature and decent of all. Some political and moral questions added to the mixture to make a nice conclusion to the story. Besides there are several memorable episdoes and scenes.

An okayish drama which tells how everything can go wrong and turn out as a total trainwreck. You can miss the movie entirely if you are not a fan of Lawrence or Cooper, it's nothing to write home about.

As average as most of Will Ferrells movies unfortunately, I'm sure he can do better than that. Summing up: an average comedy movie making fun of stereotypes about black people and prison life. I guess you can watch this if you have nothing better to do, but otherwise it's not worth it.

A surprisingly disturbing, grim and moody movie with superb visuals. The good cast is there too. The story may not be the most original and unexpected, though it has some scary and disgusting moments. If you value the downbeat atmosphere in movies, you should give this one a go.

A pretty decent Sci-Fi movie, I'd call it "Robinson Crusoe in space". The cast is nice, Matt Damon is damn good. I think that the only flaw of the movie is lack of tension and dramatism, it mostly looks like the main character is having a good time on Mars joking and doing stupid things on camera, but not struggling to survive.

Very dynamic and intense. A really decent continuation/reboot of the franchise. The story is pretty basic, but the action never stops! Hope to see more Mad Max movies in the future.

I had pretty low expectations because of the scores all over the internet, but the movie turned out to be okayish. I didn't like all that Die Antwoord stuff, just too much of it. Also there were some lame points in the story, but overall I mostly enjoyed the movie.

I liked J.K. Simmons's performance, otherwise in my opinion the movie is overrated: the story is predictable, the main character is not charismatic and not interesting as a character. I'd say the movie is similar to Aronofsky's "Black Swan", though the latter is more moody and intense.

A pretty harsh and depressing story about one small man against public authority. Some facts may be exaggerated, but the core problem seems legit. After watching the movie I had the same feeling as after finishing reading 1984.

Surprisingly this movie is not touching, not dynamic, not interesting. I'd call it long and boring with some epic moments (mostly in the climax of the story). I really liked Joel Edgerton's performance. And that's it. I can't advise this movie to anyone: it's not accurately following the original, so the Cristians won't like it, and the others also won't like it because it's bland.

I actually expected it to be less funny comparing to the original, but the sequel came out surprisingly good. Pretty much more of the same. There are a lot of characters from the first movie plus some cool cameos.

A very complex story with deep thoughts, reflecting our everyday life. The main character is also well written. The movie seems too slow for some people, but it was okay for me. "Her" is emotionally engaging, sometimes funny, but most of the times pretty sad.

Even more dystopian gloominess in this movie - that's what I liked the most in the previous Hunger Games, not the games, but the enslaved society and an upcoming riot. This movie is a huge allusion on our modern society and our place in it. At first The Zero Theorem seems like a bright and quirky mess, but later you can just start seeing yourself in Christoph Waltz's characters: you do not get why should you go to the office to work, you feel like your life has no meaning, you have lost contatc with other people and along with that you just forget that you still have a life to live and enjoy. I can't understand why the score is so low.

It's pretty hard to describe the movie since it mostly consists of drug hallucinogenic adventures of two guys, but yeah, the movie is great. Terry Gilliam could capture and show the sense of madness and surrealism here. A must-watch!

Actually I liked the first part of the movie better, it was more moody, and the second one was traditional Michael Bay's pew-pew bang-bang action with "sentiments". Still, an okay-ish sci-fi movie overall.

I didn't like the "story" elements, the dialogs were stupid and the "drama" sequences were lame and they took 2/3 of the screen time. I think this attempt to mix awesome action movie with criminal drama failed. On the other hand the fights and the filming are still top notch.

I usually pay attention to details while watching a movie and am able to conclude the story at the end, but Primer is impossibly hard to follow. I could figure out what was going on only after reading a huge explanation article. The story is really complex as it is based on time travels, but I repeat myself, you probably won't dig it if you just watch the movie once. The other problem is Primer is really boring, most of the time nothing happens, the characters seem to take their discovery pretty casually. I respect that most of the work was made by one man, but still it could be much better.

Pretty cool and stylish movie with some awkwardly stupid moments. It's all about addiction. Sometimes the movie is disgusting and disturbing, sometimes it is funny. The cast and filming are really nice.

If you hesitate about going to the cinema to watch Guardians of the Galaxy, but you like Marvel/comic-books-based movies or just qualitative blickbusters, don't hesitate and go see it! It has a good balance between funny moments, sad moments, unusual characters, action scenes and beautiful visual effects.

Everything except transformers is too cheesy and unnecessary (I mean all that family and government crap, stupid chick rescue sequences also). Wahlberg was okay, playing a loser as always. Tucci was really good. The dinibots and the spaceship were cool. Overall, the movie was too long.

The actors are decent, Emily Blunt especially. Overall, if you like sci-fi do not miss this, it's worth one watch (the second won't be very interesting), but you'll enjoy it.

Pretty crazy movie about several different connected stories which happen in the same town in a small town. If you like entwining storylines - don't miss!

A whole bunch of good actors playing interesting characters with clear motivation. I've read that the director cared about the characters more than about the story, so he let them improvise, and that's really great! The story is pretty slow though and some interesting events start to happen only in the second half of the movie.

Once again I liked the pre-games dystopian sequences, but this times the games were more intense and the whole story becomes more complex. I like the fact that the plot moves from hunger games to revolution. Overall, this part is slightly better than the first movie.

Pretty much the best X-Men movie by far. The story is great, the connection between old and young x-men is decent. The cast is outstanding. The action scenes are awesome. Do not hesitate to go to the cinema and watch a 3D version. It is worth it!

This is not a movie about Godzilla, it is about the brave American soldiers. The action scenes take about 20 of 100 minutes total, everything else is pretty stupid dialogues, predictable story, "drama" and patriotism. The actors are decent, but I dot like the recent tendency of turning blockbusters into "something more" mixing action with some family values stuff etc. Godzilla is a great example of doing this kind of thing.

The story is interesting, but I didn't expect Scorsese to film an epic 3 hour long comedy about drugs and sex. I mean I love the actors and the filming, but I do not dig the whole concept of the movie, I'd rather like it as a more serious movie, which are Scorsese's finest.

A rather violent movie with very complex and thought-provoking storyline based on a true story. Great filming and direction. Definitely this movie should be watched by everyone who loves good movies.

The whole thing with retired secret agents is pretty interesting, but the story seems pretty silly most of the time. On the other hand there is a bunch of great actors here. Overall, the movie is a bit boring, because it has very few badass action scenes and the comedy-oriented stuff is not that fun too.

The movie is about the fanatic Noah trying to fulfill the will of God (as he sees it) at any cost, even if it hurts his own family. The visuals are breathtaking. Crowe, Jennifer Connelly and Anthony Hopkins were great, Emma Watson's character was pretty bland. I felt the length of the movie was too much. Overall I liked it.

This movie doesn't have a general plot, instead it has a lot of entwining sub-plots connecting through many characters, who meet each other in different circumstances. The central theme of all the sub-stories is racial prejudices in modern USA society. The whole movie concept reminds me of Magnolia. Overall, the movie is too pretentious at times, but still good.
