A delirious, disgusting and delightfully dark concoction, this low-budget movie is the latest throwback creation from Steven Kostanski (Manborg, The Void), whose artistic vision seems perma-stuck in the sugary-cereal haze of a Saturday morning circa 1989.

The movie’s ability to flirt with the familiar and completely turn it on its head is what keeps Psycho Goreman so perversely fresh and fun throughout. It never once betrays its dark heart and continually trots out practical creature effects that tumble out of a GWAR nightmare that keep it engaging, unique, and deliciously deviant all the way to the closing credits.

Yo the fact is, Steven Kostanski is the absolute man. This film rips so hard and yeah them hunky boys are real. Adam Brooks is the GOAT in this film tho.

Most fun I've had watching a movie in a very long time. Do yourself a favor and watch the movie, pig.

With winks at the cheesiness of a previous generation’s entertainment and a razzberry directed at contemporary blockbusters with a thousand times its minuscule budget, Psycho Goreman is an entertaining exercise in low-tech sci-fi camp.

As satire, Psycho Goreman is no “Planet Terror,” but it’s a droll enough schlock-in-quote-marks diversion, and part of its appeal is just how damn cheap it is. In the omni-tech era, it’s fun to see a filmmaker build an FX fantasy out of scraps, from the ground up.

Yes, it gets gassed about a half hour in, with things not picking up much until the Big Finale. But those who like this sort of thing — horror played for laughs, a cult-movie by design — will surely find this the sort of thing they like.

By never attempting to give anyone on-screen a path towards redemption, Kostanski keeps things entertaining.

Psycho Goreman isn’t clever or lively enough to be more than fitfully fun, especially given how much time is spent mocking generic, but painstakingly recreated plot contrivances.

This is a 10/10 if you know what you're getting into. It's just a funny, greatly made monster movie. If you're a fan of costumes/practical effects, you're going to be in for a treat.

A true horror/sci-fi comedy that is ridiculously fun and has the best practical special effects. It's a solid 80's/90's kids adventure at its core (TMNT/ET/Power Rangers/etc) jam packed with character based jokes. It's the perfect blend of making fun of genre tropes while being a legit really good, and genuinely hilarious homage. I can't think of another film that I've truly smiled and laughed the whole way through.

This movie is hilarious. If you're a fan of old 80s horror films or comedies this one is for you.

PG comes off as a really messed up version of the Power Rangers. It can be entertaining at times while at others you can be checking the clock to see how much you have left to watch. The plot certainly could have been much better and I personally found the human characters to be rather unlikeable but it is what it is. PG is a pretty inconsistent movie that relies a bit too heavily on its cheesiness for my taste and it can wear out it's welcome pretty quickly despite the short runtime.

This movie is incredibly stupid. The plot is moronic. The costumes, set dressings and special effects are all horrible. It looks like it was made in the early 70s. So mindlessly stupid that I turned it off halfway through.
