Not by any means bad but could have been so much better considering the material. Never captures the magic of young Richard Burton - the ambition, the insecurity, the arrogance, the phenomenal voice and presence. Just ambles along until the last twenty five minutes when the plot falls apart. Toby Jones same as ever, mining the narrow vein of his talent. If this film had captured a splinter of young Richard Burton, it could have set the world on fire. As it is, a damp squib.
