At various moments throughout the movie, Turner and McDermott suggest something far more complicated and messy than the noir-tinged exercise that unfolds.

As the movie did its slow fizzle, I couldn’t help but wonder when the #MeToo movement was going to make its way into actual movie content. Because the misogyny inherent in Josie isn’t just objectionable, it’s boring.

Eχουμε να κάνουμε με μια υψηλών προδιαγραφών ταινία που είναι προσεγμένη στο τεχνικό κομμάτι και διαθέτει ένα καλό και αναγνωρίσιμο cast!Το αποτέλεσμα δεν είναι αυτό που θα έπρεπε μιας και είναι ένα άνευρο θρίλερ εκδίκησης που περνάει τελείως αδιάφορο!Δεν γίνεται καμία προσπάθεια να δημιουργηθεί σασπένς και η μόνη στιγμή που κινεί το ενδιαφέρον είναι στο φινάλε!Βλέπεται καθαρά για τους πρωταγωνιστές της,κατά τ'άλλα η ιστορία δεν έχει να προσφέρει τίποτα το ενδιαφέρον ούτε κάτι φρέσκο!
