This game gripped me. The unique traversal in each area, the beautiful worldsand the art seemingly done with a sprinkle of Tim Burton unsettetling for you. This game was great. Have been recomended to others who love metroidvanias!

Nothing is really wrong with this game, but its an easy 10 hours. Combat only gets more simple, as all the trinkets you can hoard just give passives (never anything to make combat more interesting). The Map reveals too much, and halfway through it does get a little boring

Stunning game, it has to receive a perfect score! In reality it’s probably a 9.5/10 It’s a truly wonderful game and has knocked the ‘long windedness’ out of the genre. It’s fun to play and there’s plenty to keep you going. The story is absolutely fantastic.

This game is absolutely amazing. Great gameplay with a very complimentary story told in a creative ways.

I love all of Kyle’s games, and this one is another masterpiece. A fun game, delightful characters, and an engaging story. The music by his brother Eric is fantastic too. Great job, both of you!

Another fun Metroidvania from Kyle Thompson. If you played Islets, you know exactly what you are in store for in this game. It is an upgrade to that game in every way. It is incredibly fun to play, even just jumping and sliding around is fluid and fun. The story and bosses are also great, a nice dark story book vibe, especially in the stories you collect along the way. The collectables and challenge areas are fun to do and satisfying. Good system as well for finding missing collectables and it is pretty easy to teleport around and pick up what you missed, that is always a must for me in these kinds of games. The only downside is the game might be a tad easy. I don’t mind an easy metroidvania now and then, especially when it is as fun as Well Dweller. But, once you get a lot of good trinkets, some of the bosses you can just stand there and tank damage and kill them before they kill you. That part doesn’t feel great. The bosses are really good and creepy looking and it would have been nice to steamroll through them, as most of my first attempts getting hit a lot, I was still able to kill most of them pretty easily. But overall the game is super fun. If you have Gamepass, definitely check it out. Even if you don’t, $20 is well worth it. It took me about 11 hours to 100% and I had a blast the entire time.

I loved this game; the awesome art and combat and very unique movement abilities—not just the normal double jump but actually something new that gets you thinking. also really like the heal system that is great, and this game feels like it's a better crypt custodian in every way.

Amazing game! Great art, cute story, original and fun mechanics. Kyle delivers again. Can't wait for his next 3D game!

Another great game by Kyle Thompson. Original abilities, wonderful atmosphere, great graphics and art style. There's a lot to love and it's one of the best games this year
