My gripes really stem from the place of being a fan. Anyone entering Watch Dogs: Legion looking for a by the books open world game is going to find a lot to enjoy. There are small puzzles to solve, plenty of collectibles, lots of missions and I would say the shooting and driving are the best this series has ever been. Fans of the series like myself however will be disappointed by the lack of enjoyable characters as well as stand out missions and story beats. With how close Legion is releasing to Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla and Immortals Fenyx Rising it feels like Watch Dogs: Legion was left to fight for your attention and your money with less money put into development. I would recommend both Watch Dogs 1 & 2 as well as plenty of other Ubisoft experiences from the last few years before Legion at full price.

Ubisoft have done well with this game but if you get frustrated easily I would maybe wait till this game has had a few more updates first before playing it.

It’s a convincing facsimile, which makes trying to save it from Albion and its assorted cronies a more compelling task. And Legion’s big gimmick is that you can play as, well, anyone. Construction workers, lawyers, YouTube stars, retired cage fighters, Anarchists, football hooligans. All are served up by Ubisoft’s smart procedurally-generated trick, each with their own look, background and sometimes even voting record.

this game was the exact opposite of what it should of been it lacks the seriousness of 1 it lacks the quality and story of 2 what this becomes is a hollow shell of what is a watch dogs game there is no main character so you don't get a story there's a lame plot twist all stakes and deaths get rectified by the end this is not watchdogs 3 , this is a bad game set in the watchdogs universe its a shame this is the game that ended such a unique series

I didn't beat the game, so my review can contain flaws. This is just my opinion.
The good things in this game are the following. Firstly: the world. The game's best point. There are some unique activities with rewards, like underground fights, or juggling, but my favourite thing is the world design itself. London looks great, and it has a great futuristic atmosphere with the classic London(ish) things. The stealth isn't too bad, but get ready for stupid enemies.
The hacking has changed. Now, you don't have to learn the skills, you know all skills from the start, but there are a lot of missing hacking parts, and overall, I think WD2 had better hacking (and was also better in almost everything gameplaywise). There are no gangs anymore, and you can't mess with the police either, mass hacking is gone, as well as blowing up some "duct" (maybe). Same with tools, and weapons, but first: let's talk about the recruit system!
The recruit system is straight up bad. The idea, that you can recruit any NPC, and use their tools was good, but the recruit missions are long, and sometimes unreasonably hard (please note, that I **** at this game). You just have one weapon, maybe two, and there are no unique personalities. And, because this, you can't have the tools, or weapons, because it is locked with the unique characters. On paper, this is bad, because in an underground organization, they would share the tools, but OH MY GOD HOW BAD IT IS IN THE GAME! There is almost no gunplay, and the stealth will get boring, trust me! And the worst part is, that you can end your game, if you use all your "agents". If you use permadeath, you can start the game all over again, which is especially annoying, when you lost two agents in a recruit mission (so you basically lost one). If you don't, well I don't know, because I didn't try it, but it is just bad. There is not a reliable checkpoint, and the game not interesting enough itself, to start all over again because you lost all your character.
So:
Buy it, if:
-It is cheap
-You have nothing to play
-If you like what you see in reviews

It's just bad and boring. Don't buy this ****, please. Savethe money for a better game

It’s got a great story with a fun and inventive design. The “recruit anyone” mechanic is well designed and well implemented as are the ideas of what happens when characters are taken out of commission, regardless of whether you’re using the permadeath mode or not. The world is gorgeous, continually inviting you to dive back in and see what/who you can find.

A great idea that never quite reaches its full promise, Watch Dogs: Legion is still a cracking bit of techno fun. Come for the hacking and stay for the engaging story and cockney accents.

I'm hooked. This game has everything that I love: exploration, collectibles, stealth. It's very fun to roam around to do the missions and sub missions. It never feels repetitive. The puzzles are never frustrating. The map feels very lively and each area has its own perks. Your operatives have peculiar skills that make them suitable for different tasks. I've played all Watch Dogs games and this one is by far the best one for me.

What players will find when picking up Watch Dogs: Legion is a game that is prepared for a long post-launch game-as-a-service experience. The additional DLC announced so far leans into the strengths of the game and established ideas that the series does well. The beekeepers, paintball guns and magician tricks all bring a sense of playful humour to the series, but it is worth noting that anyone who is (rightfully) tired of Ubisoft's content approach to games is going to find this one a very content-driven game.

Watch Dogs Legion is an anti-fascist game, and it's admirable that it sticks to that message and sees it through to a satisfying and affirming conclusion. It also bolsters the franchise's clever hacking gameplay to offer more creativity than ever. One of Legion's more profound messages is about what it means to be a true Londoner, and by the game's end, you'll have a DedSec crew made of wildly diverse and disparate citizens from unique cultural, ethnic, and economic backgrounds--all united in their goal to restore their home. If anything, that's as powerful a message for the game as you can get…Watch Dogs: Legion struggles with tone at times, but its empowering message about unity and justice still shines in a game that is as absurd as it is impactful.

Watch Dogs: Legion is incredibly ambitious, but the play as anyone system needs a little more work. The story suffers from the lack of a central protagonist, and it's hard to get attached to any of your characters when the character models and animations are stiff and robotic. Still, there's a lot of fun to be had in futuristic London.

If you’re a fan of Ubisoft’s open-world design, then you’ll enjoy this game to an extent, but there’s little done here that Watch Dogs 2 didn’t do as well or more so in 2016. It’s a fun stealth-action open-world hacking game, but it’s one that falls under its own weight in many ways. So please, do not play the Xbox One S version. Like the first Watch Dogs, it over promises, under preforms, and this soon-to-be previous-generation version will be forgotten quickly.

I haven't played a game with such a memorable ending in a while. I've been around since the NES/FC days and played a lot of games since then, but I've been having a bit of gamer fatigue for the past 10 years. This game was a breath of fresh air. I've always had a soft spot for games with great stories, most especially if the ending is done well. No complaints about the gameplay, no complaints about the performance, no complaints about Ubisoft as a company, because at the end of the day, this is just a video game. That said, I had a wonderful time with this one.

For a game that received so much criticism, Watch Dogs: Legion was surprisingly enjoyable. The recruitment system is a clever concept, giving each character unique perks, though in practice I mainly cycled between only a couple of favourites. Some aspects of the gameplay feel cliched and repetitive, and the open world can feel a bit samey at times. Despite its flaws, it offers fun moments and a fresh spin on the series’ formula. Overall, a solid, if uneven, experience that’s better than the backlash suggests.

Game is okay and I had a fun but i played watch dogs 2 just after legion and... Well legion really lacks in a few areas. Especially memorable characters. Marcus had personality. Here because of (really fun) recruitment system only person with personality is an AI. And it lacks small things. Like in watch dogs 2 after every bigger action you could see the news talking about it. Here? You spark an uprising in district and... Nothing. It just feels less real. And overall I felt more watch dogs 2 vibe than legion. But gameplay is super fun, Especially on higher difficulties. If there is a guy in enemy base you can blast in with guns but you can try to lead him out and kill, dress up as one of his people, lead his into a trap etc. It's awesome. Still there are basically two factions you ever fight. I'd like to see more of them like in watch dogs 2 where every faction had their chase system. And the driving is awful but everyone knows that. Overall I like this game but watch dogs 2 is better and now I'm sad because i just finished it.

Je n’ai pas réussi à accrocher. L’ensemble ne m’a pas convaincu malgré mes efforts.

The fate of London lies with you, and your ability to recruit a resistance and fight back. Watc... Read More
