Just a bad game. Not one main protagonist made the story feel off. The writing was weird but the fist fighting I liked. I didn't like the setting much and the missions were boring for most of the game. Just not a great game, wish I didn't play it.

WatchDogs Legion was a game I always wanted to have. The storyline was fairly quite confusing since the game took a high risk and had no set protagonist but introduced a recruitment system. I think it was incredibly creative and it lets you experience London from different perspectives. Combat system and fighting was pretty basic but had interesting move sets and takedown varied on your characters weapon or skill. NPC's yet again felt quite lively and I enjoyed that London in 2029 is highly accurate and realistic. The contribution of having Albion made it entirely more interesting. Whilst the story isn't the greatest and most things were a let down compared to watchdogs 2, the graphics, visuals, setting and hacking was still completely fun to use and I enjoy the fact it came with a free DLC, Legion Of The Dead. Finally, I'm happy to see a GTA styled game finally set in London again.

There's so much potential just thrown away here with the gimmick system the whole game is built on. The DLC is a great example of how important it is that your protag has a personality.

this game was the exact opposite of what it should of been it lacks the seriousness of 1 it lacks the quality and story of 2 what this becomes is a hollow shell of what is a watch dogs game there is no main character so you don't get a story there's a lame plot twist all stakes and deaths get rectified by the end this is not watchdogs 3 , this is a bad game set in the watchdogs universe its a shame this is the game that ended such a unique series

I didn't beat the game, so my review can contain flaws. This is just my opinion.
The good things in this game are the following. Firstly: the world. The game's best point. There are some unique activities with rewards, like underground fights, or juggling, but my favourite thing is the world design itself. London looks great, and it has a great futuristic atmosphere with the classic London(ish) things. The stealth isn't too bad, but get ready for stupid enemies.
The hacking has changed. Now, you don't have to learn the skills, you know all skills from the start, but there are a lot of missing hacking parts, and overall, I think WD2 had better hacking (and was also better in almost everything gameplaywise). There are no gangs anymore, and you can't mess with the police either, mass hacking is gone, as well as blowing up some "duct" (maybe). Same with tools, and weapons, but first: let's talk about the recruit system!
The recruit system is straight up bad. The idea, that you can recruit any NPC, and use their tools was good, but the recruit missions are long, and sometimes unreasonably hard (please note, that I **** at this game). You just have one weapon, maybe two, and there are no unique personalities. And, because this, you can't have the tools, or weapons, because it is locked with the unique characters. On paper, this is bad, because in an underground organization, they would share the tools, but OH MY GOD HOW BAD IT IS IN THE GAME! There is almost no gunplay, and the stealth will get boring, trust me! And the worst part is, that you can end your game, if you use all your "agents". If you use permadeath, you can start the game all over again, which is especially annoying, when you lost two agents in a recruit mission (so you basically lost one). If you don't, well I don't know, because I didn't try it, but it is just bad. There is not a reliable checkpoint, and the game not interesting enough itself, to start all over again because you lost all your character.
So:
Buy it, if:
-It is cheap
-You have nothing to play
-If you like what you see in reviews

For a game that received so much criticism, Watch Dogs: Legion was surprisingly enjoyable. The recruitment system is a clever concept, giving each character unique perks, though in practice I mainly cycled between only a couple of favourites. Some aspects of the gameplay feel cliched and repetitive, and the open world can feel a bit samey at times. Despite its flaws, it offers fun moments and a fresh spin on the series’ formula. Overall, a solid, if uneven, experience that’s better than the backlash suggests.

Game is okay and I had a fun but i played watch dogs 2 just after legion and... Well legion really lacks in a few areas. Especially memorable characters. Marcus had personality. Here because of (really fun) recruitment system only person with personality is an AI. And it lacks small things. Like in watch dogs 2 after every bigger action you could see the news talking about it. Here? You spark an uprising in district and... Nothing. It just feels less real. And overall I felt more watch dogs 2 vibe than legion. But gameplay is super fun, Especially on higher difficulties. If there is a guy in enemy base you can blast in with guns but you can try to lead him out and kill, dress up as one of his people, lead his into a trap etc. It's awesome. Still there are basically two factions you ever fight. I'd like to see more of them like in watch dogs 2 where every faction had their chase system. And the driving is awful but everyone knows that. Overall I like this game but watch dogs 2 is better and now I'm sad because i just finished it.

Another good solid entry in the world that is Watch Dogs. Some controller changes means it takes a minute to figure it out if you come from Watch Dogs 2 but it is a very short lesson. Great story, although somewhat predictable. Would love to see more from the Watch Dogs world in the future.

Game is full of bugs. The endless characters with no personality don’t help to the story which is quite flat. Shame it didn’t keep WD2 level.

The open world of London is genuinely impressive in it's detail and authenticity which makes it such a shame that the game is very sub par. It's basically a stealth game, at least in the early game. I've seen videos of fun stuff like automatic weapons and missile firing cars but that must be very late game. The gameplay degenerates into hiding someplace safe and sending in your spider drone to take out the bad guys one by one which gets old fast. If you decide to try to be a bit more aggressive you'll soon find yourself under arrest or dead as you only have a non lethal hand gun and your fists and the bad guy are all tanks. I like the idea you can recruit anyone and play as any of your squad, it's a system familiar to me as I'm a big State of Decay fan. I also like the option of permadeath however I wouldn't recommend it. The driving isn't bad, functional but unexciting and the character models are quite good. There's a really annoying AI who repeats the same inane garbage time after time. This being Ubisoft all the characters are "they/them" and the constant left wing talking points are tiresome, just for perspective UK now has a socialist government which locks people up for 3 years for making a tweet. Give me Albion any day!
PS This is a review of the early game where you only have weak characters with low grade weapons and tech. Once you get a spy, things change considerably and it becomes much more fun.

I'm hooked. This game has everything that I love: exploration, collectibles, stealth. It's very fun to roam around to do the missions and sub missions. It never feels repetitive. The puzzles are never frustrating. The map feels very lively and each area has its own perks. Your operatives have peculiar skills that make them suitable for different tasks. I've played all Watch Dogs games and this one is by far the best one for me.

The story was big for a small game. If the game was smaller then the story could've been executed better. The gameplay was terrible, the game kept crashing with little improvement with fps.

tldr: solid fun game with some frustrations, massive downgrade compared to wd2, deserves most of the **** it got. get it for cheap maybe.
this game got so much flack on release and most of it is true, its a major downgrade from wd2 in pretty much every way. being able to play as every npc essentially resulted in the game having barely any story aside from a decent opening, and your playable character just being nothing, not a cool guy like marcus, wrench or aiden from the previous game, just some guy with npc repeating ass voice lines. gameplay wise this also means that your loadout, weapons and some abilities are locked to whatever character you have on your team, meaning u cant really customize it. aside from that the game isnt all that pretty and needs quite a beefy system to run(high end pc or next gen console, it runs like **** on last gen), which at release, wasnt too common. aside from that weve got the usual ubisoft copypasta going on, its quite similar to wd2 and has not much variety in its campaign. all in all i gotta say tho, its still a fun time. theyve somehow managed to make wd2 again, but worse in every aspect, which make it deserve all the **** it gets. i still like it more than the og watch dogs, since that game i subjectively do not vibe with.
as you might be able to tell, i like the open world. ubisoft is very good at making a virtual place feel like its irl equivalent. i also dont have any problems with this game's satirical and cynical tone, if they had proper characters, this story mightve actually been good. as ive said this is literally wd2 but worse but wd2 is still a highly underrated stealth game imo, same goes here. sneaking around with hacking and ur lil gadgets and stuff is still as fun as ever. the guns and cars on the other hand, feel so **** bad. guns yea ok theyve never been great and i do play this on controller which makes it worse but holy **** every gun in this just feels like ur playing cs2 with ak47 and ur trying to shoot while moving, with occasional gta ish aim assist. i could not hit a single shot, and during forced non stealth fighting encounters, frequently got my ass kicked. adding on top of that are the combat drones and turrets that come to kick ur ass. they are so **** op, i dont know how on earth ur supposed to take them down. u basically either stealth past them ORRRRRR if u collect enough skill point thingies u can actually hack and take them over, if u do that, they **** die in 2 hits and are so **** useless but that basically gets rid of them for free, idk why they went this route, first, they are unkillable, then, they become nothing, a middle road in between mightve been better. also ive mentioed cars and also mopeds. they drive like ****, and go super slow, which is a shame, considering the world they drive through is pretty nice. i still didnt mind driving for that reason tho, but it is still pretty bad. bloodline expansion is slightly better, but not groundbreaking.

I haven't played a game with such a memorable ending in a while. I've been around since the NES/FC days and played a lot of games since then, but I've been having a bit of gamer fatigue for the past 10 years. This game was a breath of fresh air. I've always had a soft spot for games with great stories, most especially if the ending is done well. No complaints about the gameplay, no complaints about the performance, no complaints about Ubisoft as a company, because at the end of the day, this is just a video game. That said, I had a wonderful time with this one.

Worst one of the series......played about 6 hours and just cant get into it like the last **** feels nothing like watch dogs 1 and 2....they were more serious but this one feels like a goofy parody of them...phones removed, trash driving just feels like a genric game with people who tried to copy watch dogs.. hacking feels so boring on **** not for me...

The London map is fresh, beautiful and there are a lot of indoor spaces which is cool. The but downside is the ridiculous ui overlaying everything in the world ruining immersion. You can turn it off, but you need that ui to play. Cars are not fun to drive, bike proportions are laughably off compared to the size of character model sizes. Guns have projectile velocity of paintballs, you can't buy cars or guns but are instead forced to switch characters constantly. No proper camera controls for vehicles. and the variety is very low. Headshots don't kill in one shot. A beautiful world but the gameplay loop is fundamentally not satisfying in every aspect and needed way more work and love.

I think it’s safe to say this is the worst entry into the series. They’ve tried something new with the recruitment method of the storyline and it’s just not worked. Character development is non-existent and it’s hard to follow what’s actually going on. Unless you are getting it for under £8, it’s a no go for me. If you want to play a Watchdogs game, the original and 2 are much better.

This game is awesome, so much variety in completing of the missions. Depending of playstyle it can be repetitive if you chasing to build big team, because recruiting missions are not so variative, so better to focus on story and riot missions, not overwork on recruit ones. Cyberpunk London looks spectacular. I really don't like in this game that there are only one organized criminal gang only, -1 point for this fact.

Dopo aver platinato Watch Dogs 1 e Watch Dogs 2,avevo grandi aspettative, mi sbagliavo.

Watch Dogs Legion, a game where you can play anyone and I mean ANYONE you see, which is a good concept, but that’s best think about it. The story was decent, the combat was fun, but the parkour wasn’t great. But generally, I’ve had a lot of fun with the game.

Analysis made through an Xbox series s. I think it's much better not to have a protagonist and that way you can choose any npc with the characteristics the way you want. Overall the game is very good and addictive, the optimization for both game modes are good quality and performance modes but at 30fps it seems pretty stuck so the highlight is just the graphics, in performance mode the graphics are still acceptable and even without raytracing the reflections are good. Negative points; slow loadings, glitch bugs, audio bugs in Brazilian Portuguese, no manual save, no cell phone access, expensive DLCs, few game modes and legion of the dead mode only online.

Watch Dogs Legion Review: Watch Dogs Legion is an excellent video game in which you can cause havoc in the streets of London by recruiting anybody! That is the best addition to this game, and hats off to Ubisoft for bringing a new combat system rather than using a useless Yo-Yo stick in the previous game Watch Dogs 2. The combat system is almost like Sleeping Dogs, except there is no disarming mechanics. Overall, I skipped the story and decided to recruit people in London, and I'd rate this a 9/10.

This game is fantastic. I don't really get all the bad reviews. I really enjoyed the story, with some moments reaching me personally more than most games I've played. The play-as-anyone mechanic was really fun especially because they made so many variations of playable characters. Watchdogs 2 had you play as part of the team. This game lets you play AS the team. This was the first game I completed. It's really worth the time and is a really great game.

This game was good. Its basically a British Version of GTA 5 with a scale replica of London. I loved the plot of the story with the ending being sad (NO SPOILERS). I like this game but there are some flaws to this game. Sometimes when I'm in the menu it will automatically crash. There's also barely in Online Mode. But overall it is an "ok" game

Strikingly underrated, this game offers a compelling vision of a dystopian totalitarian London, and something genuinely new in video game narrative structure - the protagonist is a movement, rather than any particular character, united by an ideal, which shifts and changes over time. Very clever stuff, lots of sandbox shenanigans to enjoy. Plus, plenty of humour - including on the must-listen bug news channel. It's a shame that this game's relevance is not more widely recognised.
