Story and characters are sharp-witted, full of dry humour and oddballs you’ll either adore or want to slap. The writing’s strong enough that even the side quests feel like proper tales, not just random **** isn’t perfect. It can be a bit grindy, and some missions go on longer than a rainy Sunday in the pub. But when it’s good, ohhh it’s satisfying — like finding a working heater in the middle of a blizzard. Wasteland 3 is gritty, funny, and tactical as all hell. If you like post-apocalyptic chaos with smart turns and smartasses, you’ll have a grand time.
