For a story told out of order, Universe for Sale is easy to follow and even easier to love.

Overall, Universe for sale is a cute little narrative game that does a wonderful job of bringing you alongside its simple story, even if there are a few frustrations here and there.

Universe for Sale is a visual novel with a traditional narrative approach, but not devoid of original ideas. Simply excellent from a visual point of view, Universe for Sale proves to be a valid and engaging work, able to excite and convince those who are carried away by its galactical mystery. We point out that on Steam the prologue is available for free: to try it can be a great way to take a look at what the team of Tmesis Studio has managed to achieve.

universes for sale is a good game after all. the minigames are really funny to play, and the point-and-click gameplay is also funny. i think that this is the kind of game that everyone wuold like but no one wuold love. if i could i wuold give him a 7 and a half, but after all it is more of an 8 than a 7 by me

I have mixed feelings about this game. Visually it's beautiful. There is so much love that was put into the world, characters and the environment. The music and the sounds are also very well done. The premise of the story starts of strong and intruiging. Sadly I encountered quite a few technical difficults and bugs when playing the game which lead me to be frustrated and watch the rest of the story on Youtube. (Played on PC over Epic Games with a PS5 Controller using ds4windows) While playing it did feel a bit like the developers had a certain message that they were trying to push a bit to hard for my taste. It did pull me out of the story quite some times and made it feel less real and immersive to me. I would definetely recommend the game to anyone who won't run into technical issues and who enjoys more message / meaning driven games. For me personally I didn't enjoy the game that much.

I really loved the story of this game. If you're a fan of stories with mystery and non linear naration it's asolutely for you. If you add to that the great writing and the amazing visuals i can't grade it less than 10.

Universe for Sale is truly a gem of an indie game that I would suggest to anyone interested in a unique and non-linear narrative. It has a few issues regarding the pace and hiding clues of the story, but the correct density makes up for it. Also for a point-and-click game, there are good mini-games although the placement of a few could have been better.
