Twilight Monk

After 100%ing the game on normal and hard, I still get the itch to play occasionally. I've tried to get into many metroidvania games over the years and have honestly struggled to stay interested, even in the super popular, highly rated games. Not the case here. I really enjoy the characters and story. The movement is also really comfortable feeling. I have played a lot of clunky games over the years but the controls feel pretty smooth to me. I enjoy just running around the zones. There are some minor quirks that took a little getting used to but I just roll with that as part of the challenge. Getting some of the collectibles were also a lot of fun to figure out and took some real finesse. I hope there is more planned for the future of the game and franchise.

One of the best MVs on Switch. There being no reviews of this on Switch is actually scary for the prospect of game journalism. Dont sleep on it.

This Game is 10/10!! I am kind of addicted to this game. As a mid aged player I still remember how awesome Hollow Knight was, and how I was struggling some time. And this game definitely gives me the same vibes, the same feeling in gaming with one benefit: it is a little easier so far than Hollow Knight, which I am glad with. I am now about 12 hours in, and very few games have cought me like this one. Graphics are awesome, music is decent, atmosphere is brilliant, gaming dynamics I had to get used to, it's a little on the slower side, but not like in blasphemous. It just feels a little less dynamic than Hollow Knight, but I'm definitely into it now. Leveling and Upgrade System works totally fine. No bug so far, no crashes so far. This Game is a blast. Try it, if ya love Metroidvanias. Cheers!

Indie game dressed up with good presentation but lacks any sort of cohesion when it comes to conveinence. No, I dont want to run back to a boss that is mandatory to progress 100 times. No I dont want to have to manually save it just to save my level and stats (like auto save exists, why?) It really does feel like things are purposely here to piss off the player , like god forbid you leave the screen and come back all of the enemies are respawning and you get NONE of the exp for killing them again. Ability the edit controls? NOPE. Simple abilities like dash unlocked at start? NAh . so many times in this game your hard work will just be GONE and you will ask yourself why the F am I playing this
