The wait to get the game fully stable is worth it, since this expansion is looking likely to shoot straight to the top of all the best expansions ranked lists. Snowy Escape offers more depth than pretty much any Sims 4 expansion I've ever played, and that's not just the snow.

Mt. Komorebi is a wonderful world that we cannot get enough of. Backed by a generous number of activities and features that come together in a satisfying way, it's a place that we're sure we will return to time and time again. Snowy Escape is a stellar expansion, and arguably the best since Seasons.

Not a bad addition. With it, you can build magnificent homes while enjoying the views of the city. Adds variety and realism to the game. Recently: the best addition

Not only one of the best additions of the past year, but also one of the best of all time. Indeed, a good CAS, a building mode, interesting functions for the game, of course, the developers could add more content, but overall it is interesting.

The Sims has always been one of the best forms of escapism in video games and right now, a lot of people could really do with a fun, overseas holiday to a winter wonderland. Turns out I am one of those people and for this reason, The Sims 4: Snowy Escape has been an absolute treat. The Japanese-themed clothing, furniture items and building materials are sensational and feel refreshingly unique among the standard array of other items available in similar packs. I would have liked to see a few more plots of land to build upon in the Mount Komorebi world, but this is a small criticism of an otherwise excellent Sims 4 expansion pack.

The Sims 4 Snowy Escape Expansion pack was quite enjoyable, and I am very excited to dive in with my regular Sim family to check out the Lifestyles and Sentiments between them. There is plenty to do to keep you busy with the new sports that were added, though honestly the rock climbing and hiking could have been more obvious to figure out. I am sure there are still things I have not uncovered yet in the expansion, but I look forward to exploring Mt. Komorebi further. It’s a solid expansion, and I enjoyed it much more than the previous Eco Lifestyle expac.

The Sims 4: Snowy Escape could definitely use a few patches before it can be called a real Winter Wonderland. For now, players will need to pack their patience for this vacation, which features some interesting elements but too many hiccups or setbacks to let them shine through the whiteout conditions of its failings.

Got this game with some DLCs. To be honest, this game is hella boring. The only reason why I play this game is to design houses and restaurants. Also, I watch Graystillplays and thought it would be entertaining to play but I was wrong.

The world itself is beautiful and the builds are quite good. However , I feel the gameplay itself is lacklustre and not enough for an expansion pack. The world is a one time wonder, you may use it once or twice and then soon afterwards its forgettable. The gameplay needs more depth to it and should have more features to it as they become boring fairly quickly. Furthermore it also uses snow from seasons so basically recycling content. This would be more worthwhile if it was a Game pack.

The Japanese-themed world is beautiful, but also small and empty. The gameplay is just another reuse of previous packs such as outdoor retreat, spy day, fitness stuff, city living. Very little new gameplay is added, so it gets boring just in several hours.

Yet another 40 bucks shallow expansion pack which adds few "new" features which: (1) are mostly concentrated in one specific area and does not affect anything else really; (2) are underdeveloped and bland; (3) will get repetetive and boring very quickly; (4) consist mostly of repetion of the things we already had - outdoor activities, festivals, collectibles - this kind of jazz. Everything just burns out far too quickly and unless you are specifically trying to create some sort of story for your sim, you won't visit mt. Komorebi twice. This expansion pack is just not worth spending 40 bucks - that's an insane price for something that short and shallow. Ten, maybe fifteen bucks would be fine, I guess. But not forty.
