It’s a beautiful game; I really hope a sequel gets released. With its incredible detail and visuals, it’s a shame it didn't get the recognition it deserved. I hope Sony releases a sequel and that Santa Monica reconsiders its stance regarding the fanbase. Thank you.

Es un juegazo, buena ambientación y personajes, lo disfruté muchísimo en ps5, pero me quedé con gusto a poco, es realmente una decepción saber que no va haber una continuación de la historia porque vaya que se lo merece, es una pena que Sony dejara botado este gran juego.

The Order: 1886 Never Reached It’s Potential This has to be one of the most underrated games out there. I can somewhat understand all the **** it got for being so short whilst being a fully priced game, but I’ll take quality over quantity every day! This game could be a very good foundation for a great series, however this probably won’t happen… Something Different The game still looks stunning, even today. The gameplay is simple but fun, the gunplay is refreshing and varied and the animations are solid. Also the cutscenes and voice acting is top-notch with likeable and believable characters. This game creates a very good and unique lore and would have been great to see them building this out. However I do think the game has some ‘weird’ pacing. This is surely due to the fact the game is so short but I’d love to see a sequel, which will probably never happen. For King Arthur! The game succeeds in pulling you in however, the way the city looks, the characters, all the different guns, the costumes,… everything fits very well. I have completed this game several times already and come back to it every year or so. The minor gripe I have with the in game world is the collectibles, they serve no purpose apart from the newspapers. ConclusionI can recommend this game to anyone and without a doubt for the price it’s going on these days. Even if you don’t like it, you will lose about 6 hours of your life. It is a great, short game that made me hope for more. I just finished playing this on PS5 and I thoroughly enjoyed this one. The story is great, really captivating and makes you want to keep playing. The characters are intriguing. The world building is absolutely amazing, mixing Arthurian legend with Victorian era London, werewolves and steampunk. It's unique and I really love it. I wish there was more like this. I guess the only "letdown" is the gameplay, but I enjoyed it for what it was. Yeah, it's a lot of cut scenes, and it's a small game, but I honestly didn't mind. This IP definitely deserves to be explored further imo. It has such an open ending, that there are many more stories possible. Do it, Sony. Stop your live-service BS and make a sequel or prequel.

If there is something that The Order 1886 shine, that are the visuals. The over-shoulder view is very cinematic. The soroundigns are just gorgeous! I had the issue with the story, but when I think about it, when you want to tell the shorter story than use of the existing legend is clever. Not that it is telling the story canonicly, but you have some ground covered just by funding it on the existing well-known legend. The weakest point is the combat for me. There are multiple weapons and they are quite precise in the manner of handling, but combat layout itself when enemies are always in multiple ways in kinda "house-of-the-dead" style (I dont know how better to put it), always. It is a solid 7. I would not consider it play it again, but I had a good time witn the game. But I can see the lower scores in the past caused also by steep price tag at the time VS play-time value. The thing is, when you so accent the visuals that much, the poor combat and gameplay suddenly are even more striking and mind boggling. Itt could me maybe better adventure game with choise-trees, the characters were quite intriquing and story would allowe it.

Criminally underrated and one of the most atmospheric games ever made. Ready at Dawn crafted something special here, Victorian London drips with mood, tension and beauty, the storytelling is among the most compelling and had so much potential to expand. The combat is amazing, the weapons inventive and the pacing keeps you gripped from start to finish. This studio had vision, ambition and execution. Sony should have backed a trilogy without hesitation. Instead we got one brilliant game buried by lazy reviewers and years of forgettable releases since. Whatever these developers do next deserves every bit of support it gets. A masterclass.

I was hesitant to play the game because of its low rating. But since it's a PlayStation exclusive, I thought it wouldn't be bad, so I gave it a try. I'm so glad I did! Aside from it being short, there's not much I can criticize. I wish there was a sequel.

The Story is pretty decent. As for the controls and gameplay, it's absolute trash. It's clunky. And the "stealth in this game is the worst. It reminds me of the "stealth" in Star Wars Outlaws where if you mess up, you basically fail. Also, the QTE (quick time encounter) is stupid. Doesn't give you enough reaction time. I cant even finish this game because the controls/gameplay is stupid. It's cool being cinematic and nearly seamless cutscene to gameplay transitions, but that's the only cool part. Overall, this game ****.

I only remerber good thing about this game. Maybe it was too short. Cool story

En lo personal es un juego muy entretenido, un poco corto, pero cumple su cometido de juego... divertir y entretener, como todo juego tiene sus peculiaridades, pero sin duda recomendaría jugarlo, aún mas por el precio por el que se encuentra hoy en dia

Will never understand why this game wasn’t well reviewed/didn’t get the trilogy it deserved. Sure it’s not perfect, and clearly was rushed, so many elements could have been added + fleshed out, but everything they did complete were excellent. The story, character and world design were engaging and intriguing. Level design very well constructed, never felt repetitive, and always enjoyable, with good pacing. Combat simple but enjoyable. The only negative thing I can say about it is that I wanted more of it! A must play if you enjoy story driven games in my opinion, and enjoyable short play even if you’re not.

Fantastic graphics for a PS4 game (even though the framerate and image quality are drawbacks nowadays), great worldbuilding and VA performances, good story, but the actual gameplay ranges from mediocre to god-awful (like e.g. in the stealth segment or the Lycan fights). Controls feel very clunky and sluggish, even going into or keeping up a sprint is way harder than it should be for some reason. Also, there are way too many segments where the game takes away your ability to run altogether and also way too many QTEs. Oh, and the game ends after only six hours or so with tons of unresolved story threads.

There are a lot of things that need to be emproved but i still enjoyed it. They also did a lot of things good. Amazing atmosfeer, graphics, original setting with Wearwolfs in Londen, voice acting just **** me into the world.

A história é bem construída e muito legal , personagens bem elaborados e marcantes, porém, jogabilidade e game design limitados frustram um pouco a diversão. Outro ponto a considerar é a campanha curta. Ta aí um jogo que merecia um belo de um remake.

O que mais me surpreende foi ver como esse jogo foi apedrejado agressivamente, com enxurradas de notas negativas. É um bom jogo, muito sólido e extremamente impressionante pelo o que conseguiram fazer em 2015, claro, ele tem as suas limitações visíveis e perceptíveis. Como sendo, extremamente linear, batalhas contra chefes pouco interessantes e cheios de QTE, ambientes internos lindíssimos, porem não há motivo para ser explorado, não há coletáveis, itens de cura ou munições que justifiquem você olhar precisamente para um armário e pensar se ali há uma munição, como acontece em The Last Of Us. Pontos extremamente positivos, entram o combate que é absurdamente satisfatórios, armas interessantes, direção de arte e ambientação, efeitos sonoros, historia que prende. É um jogo que, definitivamente mereciam uma sequencia que lapidaria e corrigiria os pontos fracos, porém, nunca irá acontecer. Infelizmente, é um diamante bruto, que nunca será lapidado.

Unsure why the reviews were so low on this one. Maybe its run time as its a solid shooter. Has the feels of unchartered gun play if not the excitement. Well acted, good story, interesting weapons and QTE gives it a bit of variety. Great atmosphere too.

It's a fun game that didn't deserve such low review scores. Unfortunately it's a short "experience" type game but unlike other it does actually have gameplay that requires skill. It's only a few hours long, with no replayability and it ends with the expectation of a sequel, which is annoying. It's basically the equivalent of Heavenly sword on the PS3, but instead of a hack and slash it's a third person shooter.

The problem with the game is that it's reeeeeally short and a lot of wasted potential. You can play through the story in like 4-5 hours. The graphics and gameplay were good though. A lot of characters are mid because there was not time to build something up, but I liked the lore and world. If the story would have been longer with additional game modes, this could have been "Sony's Gears of War".

El abuso de las cinemáticas y la jugabilidad bastante simple pudo haber empañado este gran juego. Pero aún así vale la pena jugar. Lo emocionante de la historia, los personajes entrañables y una de las ambientaciones steampunk mejor logradas en mi opinión harán que sea una experiencia que definitivamente recordarás!

More of an extensive tech demo than a fully realized game. This is a 3rd person action-adventure, but it's loaded with too many cutscenes, quick time events and "walking" segments. The levels are linear. There's very little replay value. But there is a photo mode to showcase the great graphics. Overall, "The Order 1886" has a terrific premise. It's just too bad the gameplay is underbaked. I'd rate it with a 6.5 out of 10.

Es un juego que no es un juego. Es una peli en donde pulsas los botones que te van diciendo. Además, la historia es aburrida y predecible. La jugabilidad es desesperante. Totalmente olvidable.

No meu ponto de vista esse jogo é muito bom, gostei bastante e quero uma sequência por favor. De preferência em jogo claro, mas uma série ou filme seria interessante. A jogabilidade é a história são boas, porém muito curta. Espero ver uma sequência em breve, compraria na pré venda kkkk.

Oye, The Order: 1886 pintaba como el pepino steampunk que iba a reventar la PS4, ¿verdad? Un Londres victoriano con caballeros artúricos, licántropos, armas locas de Tesla y gráficos que te hacían babear. Pero, amigo, qué chasco. Esto es como pedir un filete jugoso y que te sirvan un bocata de cartón. El juego es una pasada visual, de acuerdo, parece una peli de Hollywood con ese Londres brumoso y detallazo, pero cuando agarras el mando… ¡puf! La cosa se **** historia mola sobre el papel: conspiraciones, hombres lobo, una Orden que protege el mundo. Pero se queda en fuegos artificiales: el guion va lento, se precipita al final y te deja con cara de “¿esto es todo?”. La jugabilidad es otro palo. Entre cinemáticas interminables y QTEs que parecen gritarte “¡pulsa el botón, rápido!”, apenas sientes que juegas. Los tiroteos, que recuerdan a Gears of War, son lo mejor, pero son pocos y repetitivos. ¿Y el sigilo? Forzado y frustrante.Encima, dura unas 7-8 horas, sin multijugador ni alicientes para volver. Por 60 pavos, duele. Es un espectáculo visual, sí, pero parece más una peli interactiva que un juego. Una pena, porque el potencial estaba ahí.

Loved this game so much! Still holding out hope for the continuation of the series because it is so underrated!

My favourite game since 2015. Short, but bright plot, interesting characters, simple, but satisfying game mechanics.

This game has one of the most immersive and interesting stories in interactive entertainment as a whole in my opinion. It is a big and very unfortunate mistake by Sony/PlayStation to not make a sequel of this. The potential this game built up is nothing if not extraordinary.

I am writing this review as a little hope to get some sort of an official sequel to this game, be it another game, or product in another media, like comic book or tv show

The story is short, but every time I play it I'm mesmerized. It's a masterpiece that was ahead of its time.

Graficamente parlando, un gioiello su PS4. La storia alla base creata con maestria dal team di sviluppo. Un titolo che meritava ben altro destino: sequel, serie tv, fumetti etc… e per tutte le persone che si lamentarono della durata, non avete mai provato a pensare che fosse come una pellicola cinematografica estesa? Permane sempre la speranza di un sequel in futuro.

I really don't get the hate for this game. It's just fantastic. From the presentation, the gameplay, the story telling, the art style. Everything is made with such love and care. The story and characters feels mature and real in the senes that these characters could exist in real life. They are complex and clearly there is a lore behind each one. It's just not explored enough in this game. Which I liked, because it adds a little bit of mystery, something that could've been revealed in a sequel. Is it short? It's about 8-10 hours, I wouldn't call that short. The only problem that I have with it is that I needed more of a conclusion to the story. The developers clearly built this game with the idea in mind that it would have a sequel, but they shouldn't. There should've been a conclusion with hints to what can come next. This feels like Episode 1 of a limited series. That being said, I highly recommend playing this game, it's a unique experience.

I really grew to appreciate the order 1886. The games graphics are amazing, the universe of the game is also rich, it makes wanna learn more about the lore. The story is great and I have to applaud how original it is. I genuinely think a sequel of this game has the potential to sale as much as god of war as long as the devs have all the time and resources they need. I’m planning to play it again on my ps5 pro.

The best colonial setup era game of all!!. Has awesome characters,assets, gameplay, direction of camera is great. The design of the weapons, the music. This game is fantastic piece of art. I wish we can have more of this universe. Hablando del dobale al español latino es fantastico y muy bien trabajado. Definitivamente necesita una secuela!. We need more of the order!!!
