I'm sure you can agree that 12 classic fighters, including not one, not two, but four with online play, all for $40, is more than a fair match for your money. [Issue #34 – July/August 2018, p. 73]

All in all, Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection is a must for fans of the series and those wishing to explore its roots. Even with some redundancy across titles and control hiccups, the overall package is stellar. It’s no small feat to pull off a true retro port of this size, and Digital Eclipse has done laudable job of it.

Your enjoyment with Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection is going to mainly come down to whether your primary focus is online play. If so, then this isn't going to be your game due to the online play that is spotty at best and non-functional at worst. If not, then this package will definitely be for you, as you'll get 12 arcade-perfect games with gameplay that's still enjoyable today. With the Switch becoming a system that is getting some really good fighting games, this makes for a perfect addition to that genre library.

The gameplay is great and the graphics are good. I also like that a lot of the SF characters are in the game (since it's the 30th anniversary). The only thing that is meh about this is that there are not that many things to do in this game and there are a little less stages than I thought there were gonna be.

A compilation of 13 "Street Fighter" games. It includes the original SF, six versions of SF II, three editions of SF III and the entire "Alpha" series. There's also an artwork museum, production notes and online multiplayer for four titles. Display options include scanlines, graphical filters and borders. This is a must buy for series fans. I would rate it with an 8.7 out of 10.

I’d definitely urge you to give Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection a go if you’re like me and grew up playing these games either at home or in the arcade, and want a little taste of nostalgia to go along with your modern day fighter. Most of the games in this collection still hold up really well today, and Capcom / Digital Eclipse have done a real solid job in putting this port together.

The various forms of Street Fighter II are indisputably the main historical attraction of this collection.

this game is AMAZING, if you want the best value classic street fighter experience on any platform this is it!! 12 games total, 4 online all as authentic as possible to the original experience (no stupid looking HD sprite redraws etc...) do not buy it if you intend to play it on a joycon!!! you will not have fun! some of these reviews are either naive or just ridiculous! no SF or other fast paced fighting game is playable online without a) an arcade stick/good controller with a decent dpad (think wiiu, xbox one, 8bitdo, snes controllers/dpads) & b) a wired high speed, low ping internet connection, you cant blame the game/developers for the lag over wifi or need for low latency online connections, so ideally youre going to want both the above things to play this in its optimal state.. the same as ANY street fighter or fast paced fighter on any platform...

Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection is a great celebration of Street Fighter’s history. While I’d rather have seen Street Fighter IV as opposed to five versions of Street Fighter II, I can’t really complain about having twelve games in one collection, though only four are playable online.

It won't satisfy every specific demand, but it's still a big collection of awesome games and behind-the-scenes content that no Street Fighter fan should miss. Street Fighter is a series worth celebrating and Digital Eclipse has managed to do so in a manner that feels respectful to the series and to the people who keep the spirit of arcade battles alive.

Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection is a very good throwback to the early 90's when Street Fighter II was taking the world by storm. This version doesn't really improve the recipe, but this title remains a cornerstone for videogames.

Street Fighter 30th purposes a lot of games, 12, but a very few different game modes to enjoy alone or with friends.

It is Street Fighter, what else you want? Well done and love the online gameplay when it doesn't glitches too much. A Classic!

A fun yet somewhat short-lived game that brings back every Street Fighter game in one package. Despite it's large amount of versions to play it ultimately mostly feels like the same game each and every time. That means you're pretty much playing the exact same beat em up arcade game whichever game version you pick. Nevertheless as someone who enjoys this game series I had a good bit of fun playing some of the more obscure entries in this series.

Capcom used the first arcade version of every game in the collection which is fine, but certain games have bugs or flaws that were fixed in later versions. Street fighter 2 turbo is borderline impossible even on the easiest difficulty because of this, and SF3 third strike has a few freeze glitches that occur when 2 very specific moves interact with each other. The online play is decent but lacking in some areas, and only the online playable games have training. The training in this game is actually great for the 3 games that allow it. Over all this collection is alright but it doesn't go without flaws
