Starfighter Assault is all about the iconic sights and sounds of Star Wars space combat, translated into a very good pinball table. If this is how Zen Studios is going to milk a franchise, milk away!

Overall, you really must pick up Star Wars Pinball: Balance of the Force since once again Zen proves that they are not only fantastic pinball table makers, but they are the only bunch of creators who are committed to stepping outside the box to bring pinball back to relevance.

It's impossible not to have fun with these tables, unless you just don't like Star Wars at all, or pinball. For those who do, these tables are the cream of the crop, offering everything you want not only in a Star Wars pinball game, but in a pinball game more generally.

Together, this mix of realistic physics and wildly imaginative board design will keep you coming back until...well, Zen releases its next batch of tables. [Jan 2014, p.67]

Zen Studios pinball games keeps up its stride of great pinball games. There are some minor issues here and the price is kinda out there, but if you like pinball and you like Star Wars it’s just sort of perfect.

For ten bucks, pinball fans will get a decent set of tables to add to the addiction. If you enjoy Star Wars or pinball in general, you may want to pick these up.

Star Wars Pinball: Balance of the Force offers three very different stages that take players to all corners of the original trilogy. Whether you're a Star Wars nut or not, Balance of the Force is a great starting point for anybody looking to get into Zen Studios' brand of pinball!

Balance of the Force isn't quite as strong as the first Star Wars Pinball pack, but it still offers plenty of variety and replay value to fans. After playing countless hours across dozens of tables, I'm still not tired of Zen Studios' pinball formula, and these new tables are sure to tide me over until the next offering.

All in all – I particularly enjoyed my time playing with these Star Wars themed tables and had fine time reminiscing while using them and are definitely recommended for any Star Wars pinball enthusiast.

The game engine is superb, and it’s easy to forget you’re not playing an actual table which, all told, is the biggest compliment that we can pay Balance of the Force.
