Sky Force: Reloaded was a game that truly surprised me. Despite being several years old, everything feels modern and polished. While it can be challenging, it never deterred me from playing thanks to brilliant design choices that kept me motivated rather than frustrated. It’s an easy game to recommend and one that I see coming back to for a long time to come.

Sky Force Reloaded offers your standard arcade shooting fair, but it doesn't do a lot that your old NES was't capable of. That's not a bad thing if vertical SHMUPS are your thing, of course.

Sky Force Reloaded is a great game from the arcade times. And now it’s playable on the Switch. Prepare to go in a bullet hell full of challenges. You’ll get the most fun out of it with two players, but the game gives you a fair challenge when playing alone.

It is the perfect example of what the genre is supposed to be and what an indie developer can accomplish. The visuals are stunning, the OST is excellent, there is a lot of content with variety including co-op making the VFM amazing and the gameplay experience one of a kind. Overall, it is not irrational to conclude that this game is likely the greatest shoot em up of all time

Very good and enjoyable shooter !!! Makes you want to replay levels in a manner that makes it very enjoyable. Satisfying upgrade system and rewards. Beautiful graphics and sound.

I had a great experience playing Sky Force Reloaded, and will keep playing it when I want to be doing something on my Switch that isn’t as big of a commitment of an RPG like Xenoblade. It doesn’t do anything revolutionary for the genre, playing it safe in all regards. It has a lot of content in an enjoyable package. The loop of short, quick play sessions is addicting, and an experience I did not expect to have as much fun with as I did.

A brilliant shoot 'em up that harks back to the good old days of video games but with a refreshing modern update. You can jump in for one run and leave five hours later because the game play is so enjoyable.

Sky Force Reloaded brings forth a good gameplay experience and a cooperative mode that works very well, fans of the 2D shooter genre will certainly find something that will entertain them here. Pity that compared to its mobile counterpart, Sky Force Reloaded on the Nintendo Switch feels way too expensive than it should.

The combination of 2D gameplay with 3D objects and some voxel based items and power ups seems like a blend of distinct styles waiting to go wrong but it works well and runs great. Some of the in game spoken commentary as you’re taking down loads of enemies and the rescuing people aspect reminds me of Resogun. Sky Force Reloaded isn’t the best shmup on the Switch but it is a very nice port of a good game.

There’s a legitimately interesting and enjoyable top-down shooter experience present in Sky Force Reloaded, but it’s tainted by an overall package that still has far too many connections to its free-to-play origins. Those longing for a game that’ll last for a while will find the most enjoyment here, but most others may find progression to be a total slog.

While not terrible, Sky Force Reloaded asks too much of the player with too little to give back. With some reworking to the exorbitant grind, I would maybe recommend this, but there are far better shoot 'em ups on the Switch that deserve your time and attention.

Как же достали все эти ААААААА игры со 100-километровыми мирами! При всей любви к серьезным видеоиграм, далеко не всегда есть возможность отключиться от реальности на несколько дней. Sky Force - идеальная консольная игра, именно такими и должны быть игры для телека. Ты можешь включить её на 30 минут и отлично отдохнуть. Красивая, динамичная, не требующая от тебя изучения замысловатых механик и правил. Посадил рядом друга, зажал триггер на джойстике и кайфанул! Спасибо!

Absolute belter - classic old school vertical schmup with beautiful graphics and the level up system is addictive as hell as every time you play you get progressively more powerful, at £8.99 its bargain of the decade - lovely. 10/10 easily.

Hands down the best spaceship shooter I’ve ever played. The graphics are modern but the gameplay is classic vertical shooter. The upgrade system is not overly complicated either. There is a grind to progress in the story, but I find that fun!!!

Not ideal port. Loading times are quite long. And for some unexplainable reason there is no restart button after unsuccesfull run. Which is very unpleasant on its own but combine it with long loading scenes and need for grind and you get really tedious experience. This one tiny feature which is present in every game (restart button) makes game quite unpleasant to play

This game looks really good. It plays...okay; nothing great, nothing terrible. However, the slow, slow grind to get through it completely destroys the experience. It's like it's still a free to play game with the developers forcing you to spend stars instead of actually enjoying yourself. It also becomes very boring once your ship gets more powerful as earlier levels become super easy - but you still have to go through them again and again to get all the medals. Real shame since it could have been solid, but the grind makes it a complete nightmare. Avoid.
