It would be good but for one gigantic flaw. It tells you the probable outcome of a battle in percentages (to the decimal!). Yet, it absolutely does not reflect what the outcome will be. If you have a 70%, 80%, or even 90% chance of winning a battle, you are usually guaranteed to lose. It makes playing no fun as you need 99-100% chance of winning to win, making the computer waaaay too difficult to play against.

Easier to score and review this than a game plus expansions. This might be the best Civilization game every made, even more than the newest; V. This game has HUNDRED and HUNDREDS of in-depth, deep game play, with games that can last hours. Opening theme music should be on everyone's top 5 list (despite it being religious) and the narrator is one in a million. They seriously should have paid him what ever he wanted to do the new game.

Excellent value for the money. If you are looking for a truly great Civ experience in 2011, don't buy the **** number 5. Get this great game and make sure to try the incredible mods made for it after you've worn out the base game. One of the greatest games ever.
