I went into Rubinite expecting a difficult boss rush game, but I didn't expect the combat to feel this satisfying.Every boss feels handcrafted. Instead of relying on random patterns or cheap tricks, each fight teaches you something new. Whenever I died, I knew exactly what mistake I made, which made every victory feel earned rather than **** Focus mechanic is easily the highlight. Charging your attack while staying dangerously close to the boss creates a constant risk-versus-reward loop, and landing a fully charged strike after a series of perfect dodges is incredibly rewarding. Instant retries mean you spend almost all of your time learning boss patterns instead of running back after every death. That keeps the challenge addictive instead of frustrating.Visually, the pixel art is beautiful without trying too hard. The animations are expressive, the bosses have memorable designs, and the sound effects make every dodge and critical hit feel impactful.Rubinite isn't a huge game, but it knows exactly what it wants to be. For a boss rush game this is incredible the bosses are challenging but unique the focus system is very unique and with a good story it makes this game great. not contender for game of the year but definitely a hidden gem
