The cars and tracks are all wonderfully done. The graphics are beautiful and realistic.

Rarely has the rally ethic been so faithfully re-created, with careful attention paid to the endurance-intensive realism of off-road competition. [Apr 2002, p.80]

Cars and tracks are wonderful and gameplay is outstanding. Many classic cars to drive and nice countries to compete in. Graphics are outdated by now but is still very good for such an old game. Cars can be hard to control sometimes but offers nice feeling to the driving experience. I recommend the game although it is very old.

Bugbear were cooking back then in 2001 to get 2WD car physics on dirt right. Polyphony could learn something from this game. Of course PC Gamer USA gave their coveted "racing game of the year award" to NASCAR 2002 over this back then, what imbeciles.

One of the great pure driving games of the new millennium.

The developer's first baby possesses a real joie de vivre and handles like a dream.

It distinguishes itself from the pack by its visual effects, excellent physics, and a longing backward glance at vintage cars. [Apr 2002, p.106]

Rally Trophy claims to be the only Rally racing game based on historic automobiles… So What!?! Historic or not, they are still just tools used to get around the same old boring tracks.

A superb game that offers an unusual alternative to the more technology packed offerings like McRae and Pro Rally.
