The game seems to be addictive and at least passably fun while in the middle of it, but I can't really say that I ever got excited playing it, or ever really looked forward to playing it when I was off doing other things.

If you ignore the sub-par audiovisual effects, you will find a decent and engrossing intellectual challenge underneath it all, which particularly exciting in human-to-human competition.

It definitely has a strong boardgame feel, although it's not as hands-on as the popular "crayola rail" games, nor as addictive as the recently released "Monopoly Tycoon."
