Psychonauts 2 is a superb sequel that appeals to both long-time fans and newcomers. With a engaging story full of twists and turns, excellent witty dialogue, and a gorgeous visual palette, exploring people's minds has never been so fun and thrilling.

Psychonauts 1 is the perfect example of the term cult classic, and Psychonauts 2 has created another masterpiece that I am only assuming won’t receive the attention it deserves. They have perfected and expanded on their original idea in every way and created a world full of heart and fun. It’s been well documented that the last few years it took to bake were used to expand the boss battles, and finely polish the areas that were complete. It’s clear that the added funds from being a Microsoft studio were put to good use and the team at Double Fine should be very proud of what they have created. I cannot wait to see what they create next.

9 I wish to give the game 10, but the gay level put me off from the game for a week from the game. Extremely unique and creative, full of fun and joy.

este juego es el referente de cuando nos preguntamos si los juegos son arte o no?¿?. en los tiempos que corren ya no hay tantos juegos de este tipo y este juego te teletransporta a esa epoca dorada de los plataformas. el tipo que a echo este juego es el mismo que a echo monkey island 2 entre otros. y se nota la mente del director. los mundos y personajes son increibles al mas puro estilo pesadillas antes de navidad. el combate es sencillo y los puzzles lo mismo. es un juego que no te va a dar dificultad al terminarlo pero juegalo y preguntate si estas bien psycamente al terminarlo juegazo

In addition to its excellent platforming, puzzles, and action, Psychonauts 2 impresses the most because it treats human frailty and failure with warmth, compassion, and humor that is never cruel or demeaning. Inside our heads, we’re all just bundles of doubt, random connections, ill-considered motivations, and weird memories mixed with kindness, aspiration, and delight. I’m grateful to Psychonauts 2 for the reminder.

Those nitpicks out of the way, Psychonauts 2 is an absolute joy to play. It’s hard to put down not only because it’s a solid game from top to bottom, but also because it’s just so damn charming. I wanted to spend as much time as possible with Raz and his crew of zany characters, and I imagine that just about anyone who decides to pick up Psychonauts 2 will feel the same way.

Psychonauts 2 is a masterclass in design. Some of the levels in the game will stick with me for another 16 years easily. I hate that it took this long for Tim Schafer and his team to get the chance to make this sequel, but it was truly worth the wait.

Psychonauts 2 is another great entry in the series, a action-platformer that can look a bit stiff and not very challenging, but has a lot of surface to explore and motivates us to explore every corner thanks to its incredible art direction, stellar characters and story. One of the most refreshing games of 2021.

16 years after the first Psychonauts, the long-awaited sequel is here. A sequel that feels familiar, yet time improved in every way. Just like its predecessor, we get clever platforming, imaginative worlds, and wonderful characters. Unfortunately, we also get substandard battles, uneven level design and a somewhat unpolished package. It is quite noticeable that Psychonauts 2 is a grassroots-funded indie game at its core, but in the end its not all that hard to forgive the faults.

The game is a natural sequel, however it lacks innovation. It was surprising the design is not as original as in the 1st part. The music is not so touching either. Very strong, however no innovation in this sequel.

Whilst I LOVED the first game, I just found the second one... boring. The story is much more grandiose, so it must be better right? Well... It just had me losing interest more than anything. The portrayal of the minds were also much more detailed this time too, portraying mental illnesses and conflicts much better than the first... however I felt like it sacrificed fun too much for art. Actually the whole game felt like a masterful art piece, however it prioritized it's art over gameplay and as a result, made the game feel a little too slow at times. While the game didn't resonate with me much, it could be right up your ally depending on the type of person you are. I 100%'d the game btw, and these are my closing thoughts.
