Project IGI: I'm Going In
I had a few bad experiences with this game but let me tell you this - as soon as I am done typing this, you guessed it - I'm Going In. I think you should too.
With no difficulty options there is little extra challenge to be had once you’ve finished the game and with no multiplayer, its lifespan is limited but for a tour de force in stealth and tactics, it beats Delta Force into a cocked hat.
With an incredibly stupid AI, decent graphics, poor voiceovers and a rather tiresome gameplay model, we weren't too impressed with Project IGI.

Game so goated it fails modern shooters. I'm in loss of words of how beautiful and peak this game is. From the missions, to the guns to the voice lines, everything top notch. If you haven't played this masterpiece you're surely missing a lot.

The game gives you the freedom to choose your own path and the gunplay for the time is satisfying so are the graphics in my opinion it is one of the beast stealthy tactical shooters you can either use stealth or break in

If you enjoy the idea of engaging covert-ops missions that require stealth and smarts more than sheer brawn, you'll love IGI.

The AI isn't awful enough to really bother me. The lack of save feature is annoying. The graphics and sound are pleasant, and the gameplay works.

Despite its flaws and little imperfections, it still manages to deliver a fun gaming experience...though we can't help but feel that it's missing something...(multiplayer).

Spank!
Boasting value for money gameplay, a tight cohesive storyline and a gorgeously realistic setting this is a game that demands to be played.

Adrenaline Vault
Had it included a mid-mission save and a multiplayer mode, it could have been a solid four star title; add tweaked graphics and improved AI, and it would have been a surefire winner. However, without those features, Project IGI is a good game, but certainly not a great one.

A botched opportunity for what could have been a cool game. [Mar 2001, p.49]

A nice shooter game with a pretty open design of missions. Levels are huge, usually with a military base surrounded by vast plains or mountains - which allows you to seek for softer spots and attack the way you like. The permadeath feature (no save during mission) makes the game very challenging. Fortunately, you can use "satellite data" to see positions of enemies even while you are hiding behind walls. It would be a Hitman-style game if not the endless enemy spawners which turn on if you set of the alarm. This unrealistic feature spoils the stealthy gameplay which you might have wanted. Also, in the final few missions, the difficulty ramps up, as you face "commando" enemies which take zero time to aim at you.

While it can be a good game that you can play tactically, it is a game whose mechanics remain bad and atrophied. I remember the game very well in terms of gameplay and sections, even though the last time I played it was at a really young age. The evil of the shooter mechanics inevitably drags this game down. The plot is generally an "Indeterminate" game. Right now, only can who want to nostalgia can play. But they probably won't last more than 2 episodes and close it. This is the highest rating I can give this game. 5

A simple yet stealth action shooter. Doesn't try to reinvent the wheel. It can kill some time, but many FPSs outshine it in every regard.

SummaryPursue and defeat a homicidal ex-Russian Colonel before he turns Europe into a nuclear wasteland in Project IGI. This first-person shooter emphasizes stealth and guile instead of massive firepower.
