Well... I love Portal and it really looks great, but the performance makes that 10/10 game a 9/10. I rather play the non RTX version, because it has less bugs, but from time to time I also come back to this version ^^

I didn't play the game when it was first published so my comments won't be like "this is the best puzzle game etc.". I liked each episode's puzzle and the game is well developed but it didn't hit me in any way other than that. Music, world design, atmosphere, story, gameplay and aspects like these are just mediocre.

Well, it's Portal with ray tracing slapped onto it. The game feels as great as ever and looks pretty amazing, but 30fps on a 9070 XT with low settings and maximum upscaling, which actually makes it look worse than the original, and 15fps at any reasonable settings? I know it's a free tech demo by Nvidia, but that doesn't make me accept that. And screw Nvidia anyway for all their **** practices.

Need a very powerful hardware to run but it was worth it for more Portal greatness.

Terrible remaster of a legendary game. Performance-wise, one of the worst performing games of all time. Graphics? Not the best, lots of obvious imperfections.

Serious fun with a legendary game. DLSS 3 on a 4090 gets a minumum of 80 FPS. Beautiful.

it works great as a tech demo, but I believe it would really not be that hard to implement RTX natively into this game through an update. Its really one of the simplest, smallest games out there and needs some modernizations anyway. Valve could have done this without Remix but now that we have it, I doubt we'll see a 'true' update any time soon.

In the first sight, the game look perfectly fine, it's just portal but with RTX and it's free (if you already have the original game)! But a game isn't good because he has RTX and being free. 1) You need a NASA graphic card so as not to have an amount of 3 or 4 fps. 2) With a good graphic card, the game look laggy, with frequent framedrops. 3) The game isn't optimise for RTX, it's like a copy paste of the original game, but with RTX added. Conclusion: The game could be good if you have an insane graphic card and you like framedrops. If you don't have a good graphic card, just play to the original game (I really like portal, and I know that some of the positive review are telling the same things than me, but they can't rate under 10 because it's PORTAL AND U CANT SET A BAD RATE FOR PORTAL)

A second life for Portal. I'm glad that valve and Nvidia did this. Sure, it's a little greedy for specs, and even my 3090 is hard sometimes, but it's worth it. I hope they do the same for Half Life 2.

The game (without RT) is very good. However, the customer is fooled with the update, as he is made to believe that his computer is too weak. The game is simply cheaply programmed and not optimized at all.

Does not even look that good, old game not worth replaying anyway, but NVIDIA turned it into a crappy advertisement to buy a 4090. This game is unplayable on my 2080 TI even though I played MANY RTX games just fine, most need DLSS, but that is ok with me. WITH DLSS on performance and LOW SETTINGS, this game is a UNPLAYABLE slideshow! Total trash.

Sorry portal ist kein schlechts spiel. Aber diese neue rtx version ist eine frechheit Ohne 4090 kann man das spiel gefühlt nicht einmal starten Performance ist unterirdisch

Looks great, but it's the WORST performance witnin RTX games. Can't reach past 10-25 FPS on my pc that capable of 80-90 FPS in modern games like Marvel`s Spider Man with RTX at Ultra.

There is a serious optimisation problem with this software. It's barely functional on an RTX 3080/5800X3d and looks 'OK'. Free is good, but half baked is still likely to give one food poisoning. Ray Tracing is clearly still a few generations away from being mainstream. Even following the optimal settings guide will result in 45 FPS with DLSS on. 15 with it off. This entire experience was an unpleasant shamble.

What can I say? A legend. Even if it forces the computer in terms of performance, better performance is obtained with the table showing which settings should be used according to the video card. I don't know if it was necessary, but it was made for advertising after all, but the game is always very good.

Очень слабый апрейд графики, не ощущается как что то современное, скорее как 2 часть. Что до самой игры, то выбор неудачный, после той же 2 части, играть в это абсолютно не интересно, так что лучше ее бы и ремастерили
