OddBallers
OddBallers has all the elements needed for an amazing party game, both to play with your friends and family at home and to play online for hours. What blocks it from doing it is the high price, which chases away many people who would love to play it.
OddBallers provides what you’d expect—an odd collection of multiplayer mayhem. Despite user interface flaws, there are plenty of laughs on offer in this quirky affair. Just don’t play alone.
OddBallers is a hilarious and highly wacky reinterpretation of the dodgeball game, with all the charisma it takes to be entertaining. However, it has many flaws that sometimes make it repetitive and boring.

Very Bad optimization for Nintendo Switch. The loading screen takes the same amount of time as a mini game (it takes unnecessarily long). When you connect to the internet, you automatically need to register on the Ubisoft platform (I hate that). The graphics are very simple, but it crashes a lot on the Nintendo Switch.

Thus, we always find party games great and give every title a chance. The basic idea is really interesting and the many mini-games are a lot of fun at the beginning. The controls also make sense and are easy to pick up. Unfortunately, the graphics and long-term motivation are rather negative for the game and so far we can't give it a buy recommendation. Because the competition for "OddBallers" is also simply too big and you should rather choose another game of the genre for a party.

The overall feeling for Oddballers is disappointment. The rounds are entertaining, even if some are too similar. However, default controls are unweildly but the game forgets any custom controls with each launch. The menus also take too long so you spend too long not playing.

Oddballers has proved to be a very entertaining game to play with friends. The controls are simple once you have played several games and it is very enjoyable to have a good time trying out different scenarios and throwing balls or rolls of paper at your opponents, among other things.

I liked: +perfect to play with friends +many game modes +easy to grasp, but competitive I didn't like: - loading screens between games are a bit slow/laggy, something feels off and not satisfying (on switch)

OddBallers is an odd game in every sense. Even if not a never-seen-before party game, there is still some sense of genuineness in targeting a single trigger-player or to play some chaotic revision of ultimate frisbee or soccer. A true patchwork of a videogame, intended for everyone that feels the need to sit on a couch with a bunch of people and have fun playing together, gamers and non-gamers.

Nintendo Life
Oddballers is a super fun little multiplayer party game that's got plenty of modes, lots of invention about its minigames, and a chaotic colourfulness that's hard not to enjoy. Grab some pals, boot into the couch co-op action here, and you're guaranteed a good time, especially for the asking price. However, be aware that in the immediate post-launch period, the online is a wasteland, a total bust in terms of finding a match. If you've got friends or family on hand to jump in, this is a great way to spend a fun few hours. For those who don't, well there are very capable bots to help you out, but the state of the online mode at launch is certainly an issue to take into consideration before giving this one a purchase.

Oddballers is a fun, varied game with a lot of possibilities, especially in local multiplayer. The lack of optimization in the Nintendo Switch version, as well as the lack of character voices, makes it feel less cool and well-made than its predecessor.

SummaryBend your knees and thrust your hips -- it's time for an intense dose of hard-hitting dodgeball action! OddBallers is a hilariously charming and totally bonkers multiplayer party game where each round is a new, absurd type of dodgeball.
