When you order Donkey Kong from Temu. It could have been so much better if they polished it and there would be an option to bind the controller buttons differently. It has some glitches which lead to unecessary deaths, frustration, and quitting the game.. Ultimately deleting it and regret every dollar spent on it

Where is the line between an homage and a copy? Nidoderiko is a fun game, but perhaps that’s no surprise when you take all the top elements from Donkey Kong Country, Crash Bandicoot, and Rayman, and merge them into one package. Maybe I shouldn’t judge the game too harshly for that, as it doesn’t really try to hide its influences — but it’s still a thought that keeps popping into my head as I play. If you’re looking for a solid platformer to pass a quiet evening, Nidoderiko is an enjoyable pick. It doesn’t reach the platforming perfection of the games it draws inspiration from, but it gets the job done.

Has almost no new ideas and copys straight everything from other games. It just feels generic and lazy. Buy the marsupilami game or yooka laylee and the impossible lair instead

The game is cool. My kids and I liked it, we play together in the evenings.

Il gioco è bello gli ambienti suggestivi e carini , certo non mi aspettavo di vedere un titolo interamente 2D/3D , il trailer è l‘inizio sembra farti capire che il gioco sia ben amalgamato tra 2D e 3D invece così non è ! Il che é un po’ un peccato potevano uniformare il tutto molto meglio , in più voto 7 perché il titolo è afflitto da gravi bug .. e sono stato molto gentile a dare un voto 7.. per me 6.5 ci stava , ha un trofeo buggato tipo quello di Kong e non prendere cure , una volta sconfitto diventa un Trofeo missabile cosa assolutamente sbagliata…. Voto 7 poteva essere un 8.5 per me , peccato ha dei difetti

Historia rozpoczyna się od złowieszczych planów Barona Grimbalda, groźnej kobry, który kradnie starożytny relikt, naruszając harmonię na magicznej wyspie. Bohaterami tej opowieści są Nico i Luna – duet rezolutnych mangust, które wyruszają w podróż, aby odzyskać skarb i przywrócić porządek. Gracze mają okazję dołączyć do ich ekscytującej wyprawy, mierząc się z licznymi wyzwaniami, pokonując armię Grimbalda, a także ratując mieszkańców wyspy, którzy, pełni wdzięczności, dołączą do drużyny. Fabuła wciąga od pierwszych chwil, oferując dziecięcą, ale jednocześnie uniwersalną przygodę, która spodoba się zarówno młodszym, jak i starszym fanom platformówek.Twórcy gry zadbali o to, aby każdy etap w Nikoderiko miał swój własny, unikalny klimat, wprowadzając bohaterów do siedmiu zróżnicowanych, ręcznie zaprojektowanych światów. Większość moich porażek wynikała przede wszystkim z szybkości grania – niektóre elementy wydawały mi się bardzo proste, ale potrafiły zaskoczyć i znów musiałem zaczynać od **** już wspomniałem, jest to typowa platformówka z dodatkowymi rozwiązaniami. Do ciekawych rozwiązań można zaliczyć przejście od czasu do czasu w tryb 3D, gdzie przemierzamy kopalnie i walczymy z przeciwnikami oraz bossami.Ciekawym rozwiązaniem jest możliwość maksowania gry, ale tylko dla chętnych. Jeśli nie nazbierasz wszystkiego po drodze, nie odczujesz, że coś tracisz. Natomiast jeśli jesteś hardcorowym graczem, możesz sporo kombinować w trakcie.Tryb kooperacyjny na jednym ekranie również przypadł mi do gustu – czasem fajnie z dziećmi poskakać i pośmiać się. Dzięki bajecznej i dopracowanej grafice gra jest naprawdę przyjemna w odbiorze, nawet dla najmłodszych graczy. Brak w grze jakichkolwiek utrudnień, które początkowy gracz w kilkanaście minut mógłby sobie wymasterować, aby przejść dalej.Bardzo dużym atutem gry jest grafika, która stoi na naprawdę wysokim poziomie, a każda wyspa jest inna. Kolory oraz styl, w jakim został stworzony świat, wciągają jak w bajkę. Potwory nie są straszne, ale od razu oznaczają zagrożenie dla młodych graczy. Gra nie jest brutalna ani krwiożercza, co jest kolejnym plusem dla małych graczy. Ubijanie przeciwników polega na ich zrzucaniu z planszy, jak w starym, dobrym Mario Bros.Grę spokojnie mogę polecić najmłodszym graczom, szczególnie że rozkręca się w dobrym tempie i nie jest od razu wymagająca, a jednocześnie podkręca chęć zdobywania zręcznościowych umiejętności u gracza.

Sincerely, it looks extremely generic. Like a goddamn mobile game, the graphics are nothing but the mobile game.. even though it is obvious that devs tried to fill the game with cool mechanics, mounts etc. What usually stands out for me in any indie title is its specific style, Nikoderiko is just mediocre in that sense. The story feels like there is no story at all. Moreover, we faced too many annoying af bugs. This game can be enjoyed without any complaints only by kids. For spending evenings with some no-brainer it's ok, but overall it was a disappointing experience.

Nikoderiko: The magical world is an amazing late night journey for you and your friend. I really liked the levels in this game, they look incredible and feel like a truly magical world. Mounts transform the gameplay, because with their help on many levels you can get to special places where your attentiveness will be rewarded, my favorite is toad! I recommend the game to everyone

Good quality for young team! I finished the game in one evening. What would I advise the developers? Keep going! A lot has been borrowed from other games. Try to be more original. Looking forward to new projects

Nikoderiko is a game where you can simply enjoy the beautiful visuals, relax to David Wise’s music, and not overthink anything. I've seen it compared to other projects, but honestly, it only truly resembles Mr. Nutz from 1993 on the Sega. It feels like someone made a game 30 years after Mr. Nutz where you can just play—without running around a massive world, choosing from 100500 different story paths, or watching cutscenes that take up half the game.

You cannot steal every single mechanic and idea (and even some art and level design) from other games, and they justify that by saying "but it's a tribute", lamest excuse ever, this game had no identity of his own since it steals everything, also lots of bugs and broken features, cringe dialogue and scenes. But the level design is decent, so it can be somewhat fun.

Nikoderiko: The Magical World comes at the perfect time when Nintendo isn't giving us a new Donkey Kong for the past hundred years. If the big corporations won’t revive beloved franchises, someone else has to step up—and Nikoderiko does it brilliantly. This game is fantastic and hilariously fun. A must-play for anyone who loves platformers and great humor!

Nikoderiko really surprised me. It started slow, but by the third map, the challenge kicked in. The mounts were a blast to ride, adding cool new abilities, and the bonus levels like "Defeat them All" totally hooked me (and caused most of my deaths, to be honest). Playing on PS5 felt great—the dualsense vibration added so much to the experience! The game’s length was spot on. Not too short, not too long, and I always wanted to jump back in for more. If I had to nitpick, I kinda wished there was more reason to clear enemies or maybe a complete bestiary to learn more about all the creatures. But overall, I had a great time! Big props to the devs—looking forward to what they do next!

It’s been over 10 years since Tropical Freeze, and I finally got it. And no, it’s not just another remaster selling the same game for the third time (yes, I’m looking at you, my beloved DKCR). This is Nikoderiko. What I love most is how the team approached level design. Each stage has its own unique gimmicks and stunning settings, which keep the game fresh and exciting. One thing you won’t find in the classic references: hilarious voice-acted dialogues and super funny cutscenes with surprisingly good graphics. It adds a new layer of personality to the game that totally works. As for platforms, the PS5 version is the clear winner (DualSense really takes it up a notch), but the Switch version still looks great—just be ready to wait for a few patches to get the smooth experience it deserves. In short, Nikoderiko is everything I didn’t know I needed. Best decision ever.
