The required reading for pure awesomeness that is the sequel. It's still very good, heck even the first one is a hilarious ride before things get serious. DEAD. FNG. SERIOUS.

-Extra- It's your standard high school romance visual novel, but it's definitely one of the better ones out there. There were some moments and scenarios that I didn't like, but many more that I loved. Really great overall. Overall - 9/10 Sumika's Route: 9/10 Ayamine's Route: 8/10 Miki's Route: 10/10 Meiya's Route: 7/10 Chizuru's Route: 10/10 -Unlimited- A very interesting shift in the series. A few moments that didn't really feel right, even for Unlimited's setting, but overall really enjoyable. Definitely has me excited for Alternative. 9/10

This visual novel is just somthing that will change your life once everything is said and done, being the 2/3 of a trilogy you experience a great narrative and a cute and little story about what true love really means. Every Vn fan out there must give this a try yes or yes

If you’re willing to invest the time in three lengthy visual novels, finish these two off early, so you can enjoy what is touted as a great third entry (which I’m excited to see) released later this year.

Well I played Muv-Luv Extra and Unlimited long before its release on Steam. I must admit that I was waiting for this release for a long time. The game is great, the story is solid in Extra but it's difficult to write a better story about a normal boy in high school. Unlimited however is a great one in that regard but I am not going to spoil anything. Let's just say that a famous anime called 'Attack on Titan' has been inspired by Muv-Luv Unlimited and Alternative. This visual novel is quite long and if you count both Extra and Unlimited then its super long. Now about characters - there are a lot of main characters in this game. In Extra it is about 8 without counting additional characters. In Unlimited that number gets even bigger. You should now that in Muv-Luv series, additional characters play a huge part in its story so its pretty uncommon as visual novel genre goes. I had a great fun playing this game and even its new release. Music in this game is pretty good but it gets better in Alternative. I gave this game 9 out of 10 because Degica decided not to include in this game one of its most beloved soundtrack which was Warudakumi because it was pretty much based on Ricky Martin's Livin la vida loca. I understand the decision but still - it's a huge loss for the game. Last thing - this new release has a much better interface than it's original. Of course it goes without saying that I am a huge fan of this series and I recommend it for everyone. It's a must-have for every fan of visual novel genre.
