The more weird sh*t, the better, I say...The game's creative premise, it's brave completion, and the phenomenal amount of laughter (sexually tinged or not, it's really how you see it) and fun to be had here shouldn't be ignored.

Es uno de esos juegos que solo podrían haber existido en el catálogo de PlayStation 2. La premisa es tan sencilla como extraña: eres un mosquito que debe picar a los miembros de la familia Yamada para recolectar sangre y sobrevivir al invierno. No intenta ser una superproducción ni revolucionar la industria, pero su originalidad lo hace destacar por encima de juegos mucho más ambiciosos. Volar por las diferentes habitaciones de la casa e intentar que no te detecten tiene una tensión bastante real, y el sistema para calmar a los humanos golpeando puntos de presión es una mecánica curiosa que rompe con la rutina de la **** embargo, hay que admitir que el juego tiene sus limitaciones. El control de vuelo es un poco tosco y puede costar acostumbrarse a los ejes al principio, lo que resulta frustrante cuando intentas escapar de un manotazo en el último segundo. Además, es un título bastante corto que se puede terminar en una ****, y una vez que superas la sorpresa inicial de su bizarra propuesta, no ofrece demasiados motivos para volver a jugarlo más allá de la nostalgia. En resumen, es una experiencia divertida, rara y honesta que cumple lo que promete sin muchas complicaciones, ideal para quienes buscan algo totalmente fuera de lo común pero sin esperar una profundidad mecánica excesiva.

Firstly, Mr. Mosquito should be Mrs. Mosquito. Male mosquitoes lack the mouth parts to bite human skin. Second, I appreciate that this game mostly tries to paint humans as the “bad guys” mosquitoes are incredibly misunderstood, not every mosquito is trying to hurt you. There’s over 3600 species of mosquito worldwide, about 300 of those species will bite people, and about half of those 300 will actually bite because ONLY FEMALE MOSQUITOES CAN PENETRATE SKIN. Male mosquitoes are great pollinators. Not to mention they are an incredibly important food source. Without mosquitoes we would lose species of frogs, fish, and some birds that are insectivores. Obviously mosquitoes born illness is dangerous, BUT IM ABSOLUTELY SICK OF THE WAY THESE LITTLE GUYS ARE TREATED, AND HOW THEIR IMAGE IS PAINTED BY THE MEDIA. ITS IGNORANT AND DISGUSTING. A really fun game with great music, solid graphics, and a good degree of difficulty, but its very basic gameplay and lack of options doesn’t give it a whole lot of staying power.

Playing through Mister Mosquito for the first time is a unique and memorable experience, well worth a weekend rental if not a full-price purchase.

The poor maneuverability of Mister Mosquito seriously shrink-rays that already little fun, and makes the game a lot more frustrating than it ought to be. Fresh, though, you've got to give it that.

This game is pretty dang interesting, the characters alone will make you want to play it, and the gameplay, while sometimes frustrating, is pretty neat too.

Ok what the hell is this game the fact that it was licensed by sony even more just kills me. You play as a mosquito a family hates you tries to kill you in every way and you are **** their blood to survive the winter why you just can't fly to another family it would be so much easier. but to the game controls are really confusing to say atleast they doesn't teach you the controls in any way r1 to fly forward l1 to stop flying and be in place r2 to do a dodge which you are never gonna use and circle to go to a place you need to **** the blood from and about that **** the blood is really tiring you need to spin the right analog stick over and over againto **** the blood but also you gotta make really short brakes to a person not notice you and kill you if they are gonna saw you you are gonna enter battle mode where you need to hit the spots to make them sleepy and exit battle mode collectables you have food that tells some kind of item rate but there are also bonus blood canisters to **** more blood what do you get from that nothing also the price is absurd even for the japansese copy of this game is 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete even on 100%. you can also change the color of your mosquito :D overall ok game really weird

Surely an entertaining idea and it will give you a laugh, but the game is just plain bad. Very clumsy controls, simplistic leveldesign and no variety in gameplay. Even though it is a very short game you will be bored out after 3 or 4 levels because it is literally always the same. They even try to tell a simple story, and yes its kind of funny, but it does not make it any better. Could be a good mobile game for your 10 minutes wait at the bus stop, but please do not spend money and time here.
