If you are looking for a horror game that makes you think, that scares you with original ideas and that makes you empathize with its characters, even when they do not say a single word, you can't miss Little Nightmares II.

The deaths caused by the controls being not as responsive as we’d like may annoy, but there’s a whole world out there you’re going to want to feast your eyes on. [Issue#186, p.79]
Despite some rather annoying trial-&-error sections and puzzles which feel a bit too easy, Little Nightmares 2 managed to excite us from start to finish. Visuals are great, sound design is awesome, gameplay offers a fair amount of variety and the environmental story-telling again works excellent. Sadly this scary adventure is already over after roughly seven hours.

Little Nightmares II builds greatly upon what the first title achieved, and pushes with great effort to accomplish even more in its setting, design, and gameplay - and it absolutely succeeds in every area of the game. From start to finish of this 4-5 hour experience, you’ll be sat on the edge of your seat, wanting nothing more than to go back in the opposite direction, but the world design and your curiosity will compel you to delve ever deeper into the horrors that await. I am confident that fans of the first game will absolutely love this installment, and any newcomers should go back and play both of these games without a doubt. The settings are both creepy and beautiful, and I really hope to see more from Tarsier Studios in the future.

Little Nightmares 2 is bigger (literally twice as long) and better than the first game. Yet, the game keeps that personal, closed-in feel that Little Nightmares established. Pale City is a great new location full of unique characters and creatures. With an excellent blend of horror and puzzles, Little Nightmares 2 is a homerun for Tarsier Studios and Bandai Namco Entertainment.

Es un juego genial. Lo tiene todo. Intriga, trama, amistad, suspense... Y el final te lo hace entender todo y darte cuenta de cosas. Es un muy buen final... Un poco duro. Todo el juego merece la penal la verdad.

WellPlayed
Little Nightmares II doesn’t reinvent what people liked about the first game, and it doesn’t need to. It’s a more handsome, slightly bigger and occasionally more disturbing follow-up that hits all the same horrifying notes and introduces some new and memorable antagonists. It’s a must-play for fans of the original, and a delightfully morbid curiosity for the morbidly curious. I can’t wait for the Internet to collectively demand that Long Teacher gets in the goddamn bin.

Little Nightmares 2 is a cautiously expansive sequel which expertly paces its shocks and creepy atmosphere. The detail and weight of its locations are unnervingly believable, while its monsters are hellishly otherworldly. Exciting, brutal and darkly humorous, we just wish it gave us more reason to stay longer.

Power Unlimited
Little Nightmares 2 is a unique highlight in a flat gaming landscape which craves for more interesting horror games. A grotesque fairy-tale that grabs you by the eyeballs from start to finish, but unfortunately also has some frustrating gameplay elements inherited from its predecessor.

Little Nightmares II is worth experiencing for its art direction alone, although its hand-cramping controls can be an obstacle at times. The title relies far too heavily on trial and error, which frustrates, but many of its encounters will live with you long after the credits roll, and so it’s successful at creating a lasting impression. It’s a stiff and rigid release at times, but its puzzles are constantly reinventing themselves, and each frame draws you in with its surreal and unsettling imagery.

Game contains more content and more variety especially in level design as the predecessor. But on the bottom line, there was more potential to make an even better game. Enemies are okay, endboss was boring.

Gameplay is awful. I understand they set out to mirror the nuisance of a nightmare with clumsy movements, but this is a game, not a film... In any case, the atmosphere and the design of characters and places is awesome. It's also story-wise, with a great plot wist that you'll surely remember.

The only reason I played this game is because I played the first one (which I rented, thankfully) and saw that this one was also available to rent so why not? Yeah this is even worse than the first one. Th e controls and physics are clunky and awful. It’s not very responsive and just doesn’t feel good to control. Especially the flashlight in the awful mannequin sequence where the game basically turns into a third person shooter for some reason. The game introduces an idea and then milks it absolutely dry to the point where you’re just tired of it. Puzzles are very obtuse and don’t always make sense. The developers do a horrible job at teaching new mechanics. They’ll randomly throw something new at you in the middle of a tense scene and expect you to accept the L and try again. At one point I stopped caring and had to check a youtube walkthrough on what to do because I was so done with the game I didn’t even want to think for more than 5 seconds. The biggest thing the first game had going for it was the unique aesthetic but now with a sequel it’s lost its charm and needs more than creepy art to be enjoyable.

Претенциозная хня без сюжета и вразумительных ответов. Геймплей хромает на обе ноги, все криво и примитивно. 4 из 10 за графику, звук, идею и концепцию.
