Everything about the game flows well and feels satisfying to play. Where some games tread like honey, making you aware of every minute you’re spending in their world, Len’s Island feels like a bare-foot beach break, and not a second spent with it feels wasted or lost.

Len’s Island is quite good in a subtle way, taking its time to make you appreciate its mechanics and world. It rewards those who take their time, explore the land, and prepare for whatever the darkness may throw at you.

Though survival veterans from the likes of Rust or Valheim may not be swayed, Len’s focus as a thriving island adventure, where the focus is on fighting monsters and not the slots in your pack, give it just enough of an edge to stand out, rather than stand with its predecessors. Len's Island is a distinctive mix of survival, ARPG and dungeon crawler. It makes you feel like an explorer grappling with a world that can't wait to be discovered. There are some flaws such as a technical sector that could be improved, but as a start to the adventure it's not bad.
