this game tries to expand beyong gothan but does so pretty poorly to me. if youre against this game i can see why but if youd like to play as other dc characters in more unique settings then give it a shot

bleeeeh such a letdown to the 2nd game. Could've made a bigger and i mean BIGGER open world. Instead they made some wack ass open world that dont even feel like an open world. Story wise is meh aswell, dont even remember what i did lol.

The humor is amazing; even though it’s a bit silly, it works really well. The level design is excellent, the characters are charismatic, and the gameplay is fun from start to finish. Even with simple elements, the game manages to keep you hooked and entertained a lot. ️

Great chapter in terms of the great availability of the characters; I'm replaying the 3rd chapter recently because of the announcement of the new chapter; the plot is a bit flat, but always with that ironic tone that always drives a smile away; it's absolutely not up to the level of the first 2 chapters, but still sufficient.

I recently replayed Lego Batman 3 out of nostalgia after seeing the announcement for the new Lego game, and honestly, I expected worse! The game is really good (though not as good as its predecessors), and if you're a huge DC Comics fan, it's really fun. There are lots of references, lots of characters, and completing 100% of the game is quite satisfying! The only flaws, of course, are the repetitiveness found in all Lego games, which may disappoint some, the open world, which isn't really that great, and finally, for a Batman game, the focus is not on him at all, and sometimes in certain levels, he isn't even there!

This game isn't as good as many of the other LEGO games, but it does have a lot of ideas and polish that have merit to it. The main issue are the levels. While they have a lot of new ideas and it's not inherently terrible, they're very forgettable and very boring. The open world is okay. I like the ideas of the planets, but as a whole I don't really think it panned out as much as they probably wanted it to. The main reason comes down to all of the planets feeling similar other than the **** with that being said I do like some stuff about this game. The story is very good for a kid friendly LEGO game, the character roster is incredibly good, the game visually looks great... but doesn't run very well even on better hardware.

Jogo Divertido, da para aproveitar bastante o jogo com vários personagens, mas faltou o mundo aberto, e as fases não são muito boas comparado aos jogos da franquia, mas o jogo e bom, marcou um tempo na minha vida

Not as funny as other Lego games. Planets aren't the best. Some levels drag on. Soundtrack was okay & seeing Adam West was a treat.

Probably one of the weakest lego games, especially in the DC ones. Similar formula but 1 and 2 felt better

Demorei mais de dois anos pra zerar esse jogo por ele não conseguir ser tão engajante, a dublagem é legal e muito bem feita mas isso não muda o fato da jogabilidade se tornar enjoativa

It's a good game but I don't really have any incredibly fond memories of it. Hell, I don't have ANY memories of it outside a few key plot points and I think that shows how forgettable the game is.

I really enjoyed the hours I spent on this game, being a Batman fan and having enjoyed the previous game, I could only salute Warner Bros for this game which was good but a little empty at times.

Lego Batman 3 é um jogo que podia ser um lego perfeito, porém ele peca um pouco em vários quesitos, como a baixa quantidade de missões

LEGO Batman 3 is a fun game to play for those who love LEGO and DC Comics. To top it off, there are over 100 characters to unlock and play. Think of it like practice for LEGO Dimensions and the LEGO Worlds MMO.

Could be fun for kids but quite boring after like an hour, but worth a shot if you like LEGO's.

This is by far one of the most disappointing Lego games ever made. Horrible open world, small choice of characters, etc. My son, Landen, has been struggling to beat the game because the levels were poorly designed and "hard". The whole story is a dumpster fire and VERY repetitive and does not live up to the success that the two Batman games had prior. This is a very poorly and rushed game and I do not recommend buying it unless you're willing to waste your time playing with overdesigned characters, boring and unsatisfying story, and bland open worlds. The only acceptable thing with this game is some of the Character packs, but sadly to unlock these you must pay real money which takes the fun away considering that most of these characters are better than the characters provided throughout the storymode. I also appreciate the talented Voice Actors from Lego Batman 2 coming back to reprise their roles. Overall, this game tries to be something it's not and is not a very good game. Do not buy for a kid, or for yourself unless you want to be stuck doing something useless for hours a day.

This was a game that you were hyped up for, but when you got it, you realize your hopes were a bit too high. This game is good, well made, and no bugs. It's just that it's a normal, mediocre Lego game.

Muito divertido e engraçado, com uma dublagem em PT-BR maravilhosa, e um enredo muito criativo. Porem não inova muito em relação o outros jogos da serie LEGO.

As far as lego games go, it's not very intriguing and a tacked on 'open world' available at the end sours the experience. 55/100

Until today (2018) the game has bugs, for several times I need to restart the game because one character was locked in a corner of screen. I'm fan of Lego series but I'm very disappointed with this one.

Unintuitive to many suit changes. Like every two seconds.... all the time. I like playing these LEGO games with my four year old son. This one frustrates him. But LEGO marvel and Star Wars he can play just fine. Plus too much time in confined areas

Its definitely not the best LEGO game. While the formula of collecting coins and building things may get repetitive if you've played a number of these games before, this game is still a fun title.

This game has better mechanics than Marvel Lego, for sure. What has disapppointed my son is the fact there is no city hub to relax and have fun using heroes. That's a shame.

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, despite not reaching the heights of LEGO predecessor LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, is still a great game. Gone is the popular open world, but introduced now is an array of planets from all across the DC universe and perhaps the biggest selection of characters we've ever seen in a LEGO game. LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham starts off with perhaps some slow levels involving the Batcave and Justice League HQ. But after enduring that boring start, a whole array of areas become available, including a different portion of the Batcave and the Hall of Justice. After progressing even further, planets from the Green Lantern series become available, all of which possess unique terrains and exclusive characters which you'll have to hunt for. LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham's level designs are extremely detailed, with iconic locations combined with fun aspects exclusive to the LEGO Batman games such as changing between different costumes creating unique and fun levels. However, as previously mentioned, the first three levels or so are extremely slow and are not enjoyable whatsoever, but rather being a chore to reach the end and find all the collectibles. Speaking of collectibles, LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham has them in abundance, with traditional items like gold bricks and minikits being replaced by fun collectible hunts which range from finding laundry to fighting dragons, being given to Batman wannabe Bat-Mite. Additionally, character tokens which unlock more characters to purchase can be found in certain levels and tricky situations where you have to rescue Adam West allowing you to unlock the legendary Batman voice actor. The game is great, and while it may not be as great as its predecessor LEGO Marvel Super Heroes and no expansive open world being one of its criticisms, the character selection, intricate level design, iconic locations and much more contributing to this game's quality.

More a Justice League game than Batman, but like the two previous episodes (and basically every Lego game) you can really see the love the developers have for the original work, with tons of references, some of the more obscure characters (like Bat-Cow or Condiment King) and an actually good main story. Fans of DC will really be delighted whether it is for the 12 hours main campaign, or for the 15 hours of side quests, exploration and Free Play you'll have to do if you wish to have 100%. And speaking of side quests let's talk about the main issue of the game, in this game you don't have an open world like we were used to since Lego Batman 2, instead there is one HUB (the Watch Tower) that is connected to others small zones you can also explore freely but always with a loading time, so you don't have an open world but 9 HUB zones, and (like a lot of other people) I consider this a minor step back. Gameplay wise it's still typical Lego games, platforms, puzzles, fights and the absence of difficulty will mix just right to give an entertaining experience (even if the fighting part is always a bit messy), the local coop is very fun and the children will love the art graphics style a Lego game offers. Finally the technical side of the game, and once again it is a minor step-back from previous Lego games, for a PS4 game they could really make better effect (closer from the Lego movie) but must of all this game is bugged : you character get stick in walls, the game close itself, etc...). In conclusion Lego Batman 3 is still a fun game, but not as much as some older Lego games and therefore this step-back can be annoying, but if you like DC comics and/or legos, and/or child friendly platforming game, it's still a very good purchase choice.

Costumes have evolved and their are more playable characters but thats it. Gameplay is boring and unsatisfying and the story is the worst of the series. I'd recommend that all the people who have not bought this game, should just watch the walkthrough because in my opinion, instead of stepping up, this game has hit rock bottom and is not worth buying.

People who know me in real life, know i'm a HUGE comic book fan, particularly DC comics. Lego batman 3: beyond Gotham is the DC comics game i have been waiting for. The story is packed with DC comics lore and characters. The Justice League, and the Legion of Doom team up to stop Braniac from shrinking the Earth. In my opinion, this is the best plot of any Lego game so far. You will travel across the galaxy, from Earth, to the watchtower, to all the lantern planets. You also get a nice, small variety of characters to play as throughout the 15 levels. You get all the main players of the Justice League, like Superman, Batman, Wonder woman, Martian Manhunter, and a few others. You also get to play as the Legion of doom, with team players such as Lex Luthor, The Joker, Cheetah, and Solomon Grundy. In conclusion, i was VERY happy with the campaign. The gameplay is the same as always with a lego game. Punch hordes of goons, break stuff, build stuff, solve puzzles, it's as great as ever in Beyond Gotham. Some new features include the ability to switch suits on the fly, some new flight controls (Which were in Marvel Super Heroes actually.), and some other stuff. A lot of the character powers are really diverse as well, only a few characters, like a lot of the big figures, felt like carbon copies of each other. Oh, and the character selection was huge. I was definitely surprised to see characters like detective chimp, platinum, and swamp thing. Oh, and my favorite DC comics character of all time, Deathstroke, was in the roster, which i was so happy to see. My one gripe with this game is the open world. Instead of one, big, interesting open world, we have several, small, generic planets. But, the hall of doom is available for exploration. While it is very confined, i do love that location (I LOVE the DC villains.) But, other than that, i very much adore this game's experience. This is one of the best Lego games I ever played, and is a must play for any DC comics fan. 9/10

A good lego Game, but after Lego Batman 2 & Lego Marvel with their great hub worlds and things too do after the story, LB3 falls. rather than a big hub world that makes you feel like in manhattan or gotham, here you have small parted sections from the dc universe. there are also planet hubs that can give you an headache and make you stop playing. but i will say that the story is entertaining, the new costumes swap is really helpfull and some minikits are very creative.

Worst Lego game ever. A GIGANTIC snooze fest where you walk to a place, & hold/ push a button... Oh wait, that's EVERY OTHER LEGO GAME! The game is set to black, so you can't see anything ever.... "But it's a BATMAN game, it has to be dark" I hear you say, but... It's also a LEGO game! The only thing that saves it from getting a 0 is the planet parts. There is a bunch of stuff to destroy on each planet.... but no enemies. Sure, there are enemies on the Daffy Duck parts, but those are a 1 & done. Speaking of planets, The green lantern home world is... the WORST! Giant area.... that has NOTHING in it. Lastly, we have the glitches. Just about every Lego game has a lot of glitches in it, but this one.... has the most, by far. One time in free play, there was a total of 3 players.... which should never happen. Lots of Perma-stucks, where you have to reset the console. & lastly, one time, I don't know what happened, but the watchtower was at a weird angle, & I went though a door, & I STARTED TO FALL INTO SPACE! Thankfully I was a flying character, so I stopped falling. So I reloaded the watchtower, & went into another room & started to fall again! This time when I started to fly, I flew around & went straight through the skybox. When I reloaded the watchtower a third time I let myself fall, & landed on a planet. WHAT!? There was more stuff that happened, but that's the gist.

This is a very funny and fun game. The only problem I have is that it's not quite as good as Lego Batman 2 but it is better then Lego Batman 1. 7/10 + TROY FREAKING BAKER

This is a must buy for any DC comics fan, the amount of stuff that long time fans will love is just amazing. The open world doesn't really dissapoint as well. You get to explore the Batcave, Watchtower, Hall of Justice, Hall of Doom, The Moon and all the Lantern Worlds. There is just so much to do to keep you going for hours. A couple of the bad points are: The glitches, numerous times i have found myself in an infinite fall through a floor, also sometimes when you enter another room the screen goes black for quite a while. One last minus is that the flying still needs to be worked on. All in all, its a great game and i recommend it to all DC fans.

This is certainly one of the most impressive LEGO games. The map is gigantic — I felt like there was games within the game. Graphics and colours are more rich and vibrant, and it feels like there's a lot more layers of scenery than previous LEGO games. With this one going into space the possibilities were endless. LEGO games rarely let me down and this one is quite fantastic — but can't wait for another Hobbit or Star Wars, or hopefully Ghostbusters!

I love the DC universe and I really love this game but my biggest gripe is that the story is short and that mostly because the game doesnt allow you to explore the hub worlds until later in the game when you meet a special character also I wish the hub worlds wasnt so lifeless and I hope they add an gotham city hub world in later DLC

This was the best batman game I have played so far. I recommend this to all Lego fans! It was such a fun story mode and I loved how you could transform into various types of characters at a touch of a button. The puzzles were original and really got me trumped and challenged at certain sections of the game.

The Lego series has been getting better and better since day one more characters more freedom and alot of more secrets to discover, unfortunately it seems its taken a small step back with this installment. All the lego mechanics you know and love are here and very familiar, the studio took a different direction with the open world this time around, instead of an big open world as seen in Lego marvel and Lego batman 2 they have set up a number of hubs for you to explore, more specifically all the lantern worlds and the moon this sounds like a good idea on paper but was poorly executed. All the hub worlds are round not flat like we are used to so it is hard sometimes to navigate through the terrain the camera jumps all over the place and can get really frustrating, the only hub world that is flat is the green lantern hub but there is very little to do there, i would have preferred all the hubs flat instead of round it get so game breaking that i have to put down the controller and think what to do, it shouldn't be that bad but this is the end game content after you beat the story and you will have a difficult time but you can play it. There are little bug here and there but nothing game breaking all and all pretty good. with over 150 character to play as i couldn't be happier, yet the horrible hub worlds are holding back what could have been the best Lego game to date, hopefully in the future they will go back to a big open world like in the past
