You don’t have to be a big Arena Shooter fan—or have a childhood full of campfire Capture The Flag—to find something to enjoy. If you give Last Flag a little time and meet it on its own terms, there’s a really fun, chaotic rhythm to it that starts to click. It’s weird, it’s loud, it doesn’t always go the way you want it to—but when it works, Last Flag hits in a way that’s hard to replicate anywhere else.

Last Flag has many fun aspects to entertain players enough for a full weekend of gaming; however, it may be lacking the special sauce to ultimately click with enough of an audience to keep the live-service game running.

Last Flag is built on a simple and effective concept, getting straight to the point: immediate fun, without any detours. While the first moments in-game feel magical, Last Flag will still need strong assets to keep its player base hooked, which will require additions to be implemented quickly and on a regular basis.

With fun gameplay and some unique mechanics, Last Flag is a fun take on a classic children's game, but a lack of content and variety in matches at launch might turn away some people after a few matches. Still, at this stage, it's a fun game with a strong foundation to build on in the coming months.
