The only thing which was pretty good was the crafting / gearing system, and they decided to nerf it to the ground, making the game only boring and repetitive.

It was competent for its story, but ain't nobody got time for an endgame. Nothing to be remembered though.

Last Epoch has a lot of potential, and at its core, it’s a solid ARPG with a great skill system. The customization options are deep, and the class-specific skill trees are a highlight — I genuinely enjoyed experimenting with different builds without feeling completely locked into one path. That said, several aspects held the game back for me. The story is underwhelming and difficult to follow. I really tried to get into the lore, even watched a few videos to help piece things together, but it just felt inconsistent and messy. For a game that seems to want you to care about its world, it doesn’t do a great job of drawing you **** itemization system is another hurdle, especially for casual players like myself. Loot drops constantly, but parsing through the sheer number of stats and affixes is overwhelming. I wish it had a more intuitive item comparison system — something simple like Diablo or Path of Exile where green means better and red means worse would go a long way.Visually, the enemy design is uninspired. Many of them feel too bright or cartoonish, lacking the menace or presence you'd expect in a dark fantasy setting. Combined with what I felt was an overall lack of challenge, the gameplay loop lost its excitement fairly quickly. There’s a great foundation here, and I’m sure dedicated ARPG fans will enjoy diving deep into the mechanics. But as a more casual player, I’d recommend waiting for a sale — unless you're really into complex build crafting.

Perhaps this is the main competitor for the title of the best Diabloid of 25. If you are a fan of Diablo 2, you should definitely at least take a closer look at this project.

After patches quite good game with nice endgame but lacks feeling of hit power and terrible tutorial after campaign - lack of it.

This game is a cheap version of diablo and path of exile. Boring. I removed it from my steam library. I only did this two times that i recall. Music is uninspiring, story is meh, graphics are outdated. I decided to quit when i saw the gold goblin from Diablo remade into some silly monster. I had enough of this game.

Definitely could use some updates to the ass servers overall it is just bad when it comes to action the game is lacking 1000+ hrs loot is fine but the boring story every time is a shame. The fact is we want to progress our characters we want to change our builds as fast as possible I'd like to see all mastery key skills unlocked wht good is it to only have some. This is just an awesome game flushed dwn the toilet do to lack of end game and boring story telling with the fact the oh we can't even get gradeA servers in 2024 this is truly sad.

This is one of the best ARPG out there. It have by far the best crafting out of any ARPG, and IMHO the best gearing system. The classes are all pretty nice, and the passives system, skill system and gear are deep enough to have a healthy build diversity. Definitely recommend

I have gone to the game's forum to kindly ask for a release in other storefront. Not only was ignored by the developers as I got mocked by other members of the community. So nah... I not recommend it.

The game is superbly polished, it cannot be denied. But unfortunately, resetting the map (and monsters) when you go back to the previous location annoys me terribly and discourages me from playing further.Komentarzy: 0 O

Soooooooooo disappointed. This game is ALL about RNG, and RNG is so low, you'll spend hours and hours and hours and hours farming content to get what you'll need to progress. It's just a waste of time created so you can't see the lack of content. Just move on, go to the beach, enjoy the sun.

The game is great, you can do so much stuff with your character gear and skills. Basically the best character management RPG atm. And there is a nice update as well.

TL;DR if you want to pay full price for this game, hold until cycle 1.4. Otherwise wait for the discount so the game will be cheaper than in external stores because the current price ($34.99) is overpriced for the current content.Starting of, this game was funded not only by players who backed in Kickstarter campaign or by buying in EA part but also Tencent (the same who bought for example 51% shares in Epic Games or Techland or 86.67% in GGG shares, but for the last one players don't criticize). This game was promoted mostly by LE partners (most of them are from Path of Exile game) who wanted to make this game like PoE as most as it can but with difficulty between Diablo 4 and PoE. There's nothing wrong with that however using hate speech how Blizzard is bad to promote EHG and Last Epoch is a bit...well...unethical. The problem is that it failed with creating something like that. Developers implemented Loot Filter (LF) however due to poor itemization (which can compete with D4 itemization between launch and season 3) made LF completely pointless because I was unable to find any upgrades or useful items to do crafting between level 12 and 31. This provided a huge hole when I was unable to play comfortable and in 4 moments monsters overwhelmed my character and I got "death popup" simulator 3-5 times, one after the other. Crafting is unintuitive because unless you don't have any of glyph or rune, you can't check what it even is due to lack of tooltips (not sure if it's language related. In PL language there were no tooltips). You have to obtain this, search in help guide or check videos on YouTube. Description of rune/glyph is sometimes also unintuitive. It could provide some in-game videos presenting how crafting works. Overall, I only used some deconstruction **** that's it. Fun fact: glyphs and runes are not moved to crafting inventory when you pick them up. You have to click on "Transfer materials" button to move them. Really it could not be automated on pickup since Early Access? I also added once some resistance just to realize that it was pointless move because you have to max your reses to cap ASAP otherwise you can receive 1-shot non telegraphed skill. 20 attempts still didn't improve myself. I can even go without any resistance to increase my offensive and probably this would do much more. Thanks to keybindings, I learnt after 10 minutes to unbind crafting shortcut because due to my "fat fingers" I very usually press "F" with when I was using skill under "R" shortcut and got 1/4 screen covered by crafting window because I definitely want to change my equipment in the middle of the boss fight. This window should be disabled during this part and similar. Thanks but not thanks. There are 120 abilities along with dozens of passives for every ability and synergies with to trigger other ability however 80% of them are only made for "fun to play" builds. They are totally pointless in the endgame so in my opinion the could never exist. This is wasted potential. There are 5 classes with 3 masteries for every class however if you check ladders you can see on Softcore non solo (any solo, especially SSF for 0.05% of players should not be determinant to create meta) only two masteries are playable and are too strong. Even devs noticed that and said that if some classed can easily go with higher corruption level than they expected that means there's something wrong (bug or overpower). So it could be better to start with balancing. Fixing bugs regarding class balance is on lowest priority because players asked about that in poll to focus on other bugfixes. Seriously 90 people are focusing on fixing bugs which have 0 severity in game? Sorry but this should not go in that way. Monolith echoes are just copy-paste design of Nightmare Dungeons (ND) from Diablo 4 with some exceptions: 1) Different monsters 2) Different objectives 3) Different spawn place for players 4) Randomized reward if your character don't die (which is still a trash reward in 90% of cases) 5) Difficulty increases in scalability depending of corruption level 6) Modifiers stay for a few echoes instead of one comparing to D4. They're fine but after 10 minutes of doing this activity you can feel that it's too boring and Diablo 4 NDs can be more interesting. Milestones 1 & 2 before bosses are made for unknown reason. They could add a possibility to skip them when player want to fight with boss after reaching enough stability. Circle of Fortune needs update or redesign. Idk who found an idea to generate objective "Complete rank 4 Arena/Dungeon" when you're on first character with 50 lvl but I hope that person does not work in EHG anymore. Time travel opportunity looks nice but in mid and endgame you're only switching between divine era and end of times. Rest of them are used during storyline. The roadmap for cycles 1.1 to 1.4 looks promising on paper however it leads to one conclusion: all changes provided should be on game launch (in cycle 1.0).

I been coming in and out of this game since early access. All I can say get this on a discount for maybe 20 euro since the game can definitely provide 20-30hrs of fun, but after that it just goes down the hill. Endgame is boring, itemization is boring, community is stuck up in their ways so nothing will ever improve and devs seem to have no idea what actually made the successful arpgs successful and are happy to push out constant garbage without fixing existing system. Disappointing as the foundation is there but everything places on top of that foundation is just 0/10.

If you want to play an offline-only game, this game is great. But if you're like me and want to play with friends, this is not the game for you. Long after its release and online play is still unbearable with rubberbanding. Offline works perfectly, but online is just a no-go for me and my friends. But the company got our money already, so they don't care. Lesson learned, stop preordering games. I finally had to uninstall this garbage today because I don't think if they haven't fixed the issue by now, they never will. Even D4 had their rubberbanding issue fixed in like 2 weeks after launch. I don't recommend this to ANYONE who wants to play this with family or friends.

Some early game impressions on this game which I more or less enjoy so far. So last epoch is really a very conventional isometric arpg,it takes obvious inspirations from both Diablo 2 and path of exile and it's being quite unapologetic about it. The art style is also not too far removed from path of exile though it has a much less dark tone which is welcomed and the game it really looks great. What Is different in last epoch is the way you progress and upgrading your active skills in a way that suits your preference. Also it gives you a class that can evolve into different subclasses doing so as you see fit which is an excellent approach in progression. I think last epoch is a great game, maybe is playing it a bit safe on some aspects but it makes up for it,I am sticking with 8 though it might change once I complete the campaign.

(MY SCORE : 7.5 /10) This Isometric Action RPG game with a Hack-and-Slash combat system is quite exciting and very challenging! The mechanism is similar to the Diablo Game! Last Epoch is set in Eterra, a world inhabited by Gods and Kingdoms. We become a character called "Traveler", where at the beginning we have to choose a class with the options: Rogue, Mage, Acolyte, Sentinel, and Primalist. I myself choose Rogue! We travel through time to change the past to prevent the world from falling into eternal darkness! Our starting point is at the End of Time, and we have to complete Main Quests in several Eras, namely: Ancient Era, Divine Era, Imperial Era and Ruined Era! With Zerrick's help, the Traveler will go to the Majasa temple located in Maj'elka. Majasa is the Goddess of Luxury in the form **** snake covered in jewels who became the ENDING BOSS in this game version 1.0, after she was betrayed by one of her Vessel Maidens, Apophis, by stealing the power of Epoch. (Note: Vessel Maiden is a follower of Majasa who sacrificed her body to maintain Majasa's immortality). For the latest version 1.0, there are a total of 9 chapters in this game. And the final main quest is Apophis and Majasa. However, this game is actually not really finished, because reportedly the developer still wants to add several Main Chapters to this game in the next version!

This game is too addictive! I can't stop playing it and trying out new builds and nodes on the passive tree. The best thing about it is that you don't need a build guide to have a viable character, you can experiment and discover one on your own!

As someone who is in love with the ARPG genre, I couldn't pass on this game, so I tried it out. And first, I want to say that yeah, "it's simpler than POE but cheeper than D4" is a 100% valid statement. Now lets start as usual. From the graphic part, the game looks pretty good. Models with a high amount of poligons location are well designed, but for my taste, the art style is too colorful, like in D3. It would be great if it were closer to dark creepy, like in D2 or POE, but that is my own preference. The sound part is also good enough—the death ratles of slayed enemies or the lightning crackling from your spell sound and fells enjoeyable. Gameplay is the is the core element of games of this genre, and this is good enough for me to spend 100+ hours in it. Now, im not talking about playing campain again and again; im talking about monolith mechanics, some analog of maps in POE infinite playground for upgrading your character and to satisfy your desire to kill tons of mobs. At the current state, it is not overloaded with mechanics, and you can't see some items in the game that have tons of implicit/affix and so on and look like some article. The same with the skills tree: it is not overloaded to be hard to understand and not a single line like it was in D4. The only minus in my mind is uncuped value of the energo shield, which can be 50k+ and make your character literally unkillable. So as a result, I can recommend this game, probably for POE enthusiasts who are just waiting for new leagues or for someone who wants to try this genre.

Ok, I've figured it out; this game is just a giant troll. They start with random one shotting in echoes from nothing touching you, depriving you of rewards from beating it and the items on the ground that won't pick up when you click them. Then they have Shade of Orobyss one shot you when you have multiple Gaze of Orobyss so you lose them, then when you go back he barely does any damage to you with the same ability.

Last Epoch is a great ARPG with a lot of great ideas with great execution. I give it a 10 for level of enjoyment received from playing overall, but on a more critical level I'd give it a 8 objectively, 9 grading on a curve for a "smaller, inexperienced because simply new devs" class and in order to offset the negative reviews because they aren't completely fair. The negative reviews from users mostly stem from server issues over first week of launch. Co-op issues remain, and my less than a full 10 view mostly stems from that. 10 as a fanboy/8.5 as a critic

Potential to be good if not for all the **** ****. Clicking anywhere near a new zone area, even if you didn't click it and are fighting enemies, causes you to change zones, and the previous zone to totally reset and clear the map. But you often have to click items 2-3 times to get them to pick up. Played during the beta and it seemed like the story and time travel stuff could be interesting, but so far not really panning out that way. Enemies can kill you with nothing visible hitting you and nothing telegraphed. Some things telegraph a big circle, but who knows if you have to stand outside it or inside it to not die; or outside then quickly inside. Some version of Heorot has a mapwide aoe so you have to stand close, then telegraphs a line in one direction, and does a spike in a different direction that you can't predict that will one shot you, so it is just luck if you finish the fight. Default keybindings are the exact opposite of Diablo, so basically guaranteed to get you killed during any kind of chaotic fight. Shifting items to stash or sell apparently sometimes just equips the item, and you find out later you have some random garbage equipped and your crafted item is gone. Buyback of some items, amulets and rings, costs 10 times what they sell for or any item bought directly from a vendor would cost, but other items are the same price. Nowhere does it say what the base damage of spells is so you can calculate what would be the best damage increase, you just have to look at the estimated damage when you swap items and hope it is accurate; but that doesn't help in deciding if you should craft one stat or another. Sometimes you teleport to a party member and end up in some no man's land and can't move, and have to reload the game. No indication of what the global cooldown is or when it will pass, it just doesn't cast your followup spell if you try too soon. Also the fact that this is only available on Steam, I didn't want to give Valve money. Tons of bots spamming chat for gold selling site. Tons of people selling items for 0 gold for some reason, so hardly a need to play the game for items, you can just get them for free from the bazaar.

I hear people say this about Diablo 2 and PoE. If you were truly around during the D2 and LoD days you must have a bad memory. Maybe I'm more nostalgic, or maybe Diablo and Diablo 2 are why people are playing ARPG's today. "Stay awhile and listen" says it all. Deckard Cain, the mysterious stranger, the Horadrim, and supporting cast are forever memorable. The story, zones, acts are excellent, and the music even better. I can tell you the one dude sounds like Deckard, even looks like him. The classes, passive trees, and loot system is from Diablo while the skill trees are more like **** has completely new elements, new skill gem systems, a weird but somehow working economy like SoJ's and the maps system. I still don't even know how all the crafting works. Its a fresh **** it's free. This game doesn't do anything new, not saying it needs to, but I just don't think it's fair to say "its on par with D2". I think you can say "im having as much fun since D2" but all ARPG's will take elements from Diablo and Diablo 2. Arguably, they're the founders of the genre or subgenre of ARPG or what people consider ARPG today.Last Epoch doesn't do anything new, rather it combines Diablo 2 and PoE elements and wraps it around a ho hum story with forgettable characters. I'm no means trying to tear you or the game down, but this doesn't do anything new to garner that kind of comparison because it reinvents the wheel. I actually like what the devs tried, when they thought there would be a godilocks zone between the two, they're sorta right, but really, it just couldn't have released at a better time.

I'm going to compare this game to Diablo 4, because I've been playing Diablo since the first game in 1997. Campaign, story, graphics, combat effects, combat speed, skill visual effects, environment effects, map, visuals everything is better in Diablo 4. Beacause of this LE sometimes can be boring for me. Not enough powerful feeling of hittings. About the Skill Tree, which I think is the most important part in ARPG Hackn Slash games, Last Epoch is giving more options. It can be fun in the early game, but later on it can be annoying to go back to the minimum skill level when you want to change skills. Also, I don't think it's nice that when you choose a mastery, you have to open a new character from the beginning when you want to play the other mastery. But still there are more options than D4 and you don't have to follow standard builds. I dont like copy paste meta builds that everyone has. For example in D4, everyone walks around the map with the same skills and paragons with same builds Barbarian (HotA, Upheaval), Sorcerer (Ball Lightning), Druid (Lightning Storm), Necro(Bone Spear) etc. I don't find this system fun. Crafting is also fun but since it is limited to forge potencial, and because too many items fall to the ground, I could not fully enjoy it. Overall, after a point I started to get bored while playing this game, and I didn't find it encouraging to do the campaing all over again and again for each new character.

IMHO this game is boring although it's something fresh on the market.. It just doesn't have that something that grips you. Leveling up feels good, killing monsters feels great but for most of the time I was running through mobs as I was bored to kill them. Not to mention that they respawn each time I was teleporting or changing locations back to the same map. For me this game is one skill use due to it's clunky movement and I wish I could combine my skills into combos but in this state of the game using other skills to me seems like a waste of time. Maybe except this one that gets you away or to enemy fast. This game has a potential but it suffers the same horrible mechanics as D4. It's just too much of everything. Percentage to this, percentage to that. Why can't it be simple enough just to enjoy the game? And loot... It's just not interesting. Seems there's heavy emphasis on crafting but this takes away from excitement of finding something good. Even uniques are uninteresting...

Diving into this action role-playing game (ARPG) is an exhilarating experience that sets a new standard for the genre. Its fast-paced combat system is a thrilling blend of strategy and reflexes, making every encounter feel dynamic and rewarding. The game's world is a masterpiece of design, with lush landscapes and dark, foreboding dungeons that invite exploration and discovery. The character progression system is deeply satisfying, allowing for a wide range of customization options that encourage experimentation with different builds and strategies. The storyline, rich with lore and intrigue, provides a compelling backdrop for the action, driving you forward with a sense of purpose and anticipation for what's to come. Moreover, the game excels in its cooperative multiplayer experience, where players can team up to take on challenging bosses and share the spoils of victory. The developers' commitment to regular updates and community engagement ensures that the game continues to evolve, keeping the gameplay fresh and engaging. The visual and auditory presentation is top-notch, with stunning graphics and an immersive soundtrack that perfectly complements the intensity of battles and the serenity of exploration.Overall, this ARPG is a triumph of game design, offering a deeply engaging and endlessly replayable experience that captivates from the first moment. It's not just a game but an adventure that beckons to both newcomers and veterans of the genre alike. Whether you're navigating its intricate story, mastering its combat, or simply reveling in the beauty of its world, this game is an unforgettable journey that sets the imagination ablaze.

Very rough game right now. Servers are still borked weeks after launch. One-shot mechanics are too common. Game becomes boring too easily. You permanently brick your gear upgrading it. Really needs severe improvements. On the other hand, the way you can customize skills is pretty impressive.

The keyword for this game is CARE. An ARPG that not **** ass and not monetized to death and, most importantly for me, it handles with a lot of care their systems mechanics. I feel empowered with every one of them. You are not stuck because it is over the top of complexity or it is just done totally unfair (d3 release vibes).Right now it has a pace that you can easily follow and tools to keep growing. Add amazing QoL, you can play your way or follow a guide, online or offline, solo or with friends/community, focus one char or easily lvl up others.

Last Epoch is a unique ARPG because it, surprisingly, offers outstanding build customization and easily accessible crafting. It offers a lot more than other well-known titles in this genre and is simple enough for beginners to grasp. If they can handle additional activities for the endgame loop—which is currently a little tedious—it looks promising. However, if you enjoy games of this kind, I suggest you purchase it!

The game is stunning to look at, the soundtrack is epic in scale and mechanically the game seems very solid and scratches that itch. One of those 'let's just play for an hour more' kinda games. If I stopped my review here I'd give it 8/10. But... I am absolutely baffled with two things: 1) The storytelling is absolutely shocking to the point that honestly I've not a clue what's going on. I have no affinity for my character or any of the NPCs as the game hasn't given me any kind of time with them. Things just seem to happen and then you get a dialogue choice that doesn't matter at all. You push through zone after zone in quick succession before hitting a town/hub... give me a reason to get invested in your world FFS! 2) A good 95% of the time a fail should be down to your skill. You've missed a mechanic, you needed to avoid damage better etc. In Last Epoch that answer is, most of the time, 'get more defence/resistance'. I just fail to see how this is fun at all, or even a challenge. "You died to poison"... okay so you're telling me I need more poison resist? Should I go back to town and just hope there's an armour piece that has that and doesn't ruin my build? Baffled at the high scores on here but maybe it's just because I'm not a typical ARPG enjoyer, more into the regular RPGs where you get to explore a world. Get lost in it and it's lore. Last Epoch to me just feels like mechanics wrapped up in a pretty shell. The gaming addict in me felt the pull but ultimately it gave me no reason to love it and for my own sake I had to quit at level 60. Gave it more than a fair shot but ultimately I don't get the hype at all.

This is what D4 should look like. Accessible and yet complicated, at the same time not as much complicated like PoE. You can see that the game is made by enthusiasts of h&s, you can feel it in every aspect of the game, at the same time you can feel that it is a small studio, and there are a lot of technical bugs.

Compared to PoE 1, it obviously lacks a little content in the lategame once you reach hundreds of hours played. However, it also has several systems that is a direct improvement to those present in PoE, such as the crafting etc and arguable much better loot. Because of those systems, I would argue it is more enjoyable than Path of Exile 1 for the first 200 hours by a large margin. An amazing experience for the pricepoint, and I extremely optimistic about the future of this game, considering the systems work so well itc can only become better with more content added. As of this review I have 160 hours playtime, 1600 hours in PoE

I haven't gotten too far into the game and I play offline so this review won't be about the end game content, server issues, or the full story. I did the first couple missions and fought a couple bosses/mini bosses. The game has a lot of potential but is held back by some bugs and has the worst controller support I have seen on a PC game in a long time. Even though it didn't have a big budget it has been in Early Access since 2019 and they had a beta so I would have thought it would have launched a bit more polished. PROS: -The skill tree has a good variety of fun abilities for different play styles. -The combat is good. -Half the price of a AAA game at launch. CONS: - I can't play on keyboard for long due to carpal tunnel so I prefer controller and it's almost unplayable at launch on the controller. I don't know what is a bug and what is just bad design. On keyboard you can rebind the keys no issue but when you try to do the same on the controller it doesn't give you the prompt to rebind on 95% of the keys. Some important functions aren't even listed as assigned in the rebind menu for the controller but if you click the button in game it will pop up. Like the scroll wheel that pops up with all the options for inventory, skills, etc. The few buttons you can rebind only accept a couple buttons because buttons are locked to other moves and the game won't let you reassign them. There is also an issue with the right stick. It's supposed to be a cursor like a mouse to make up for a lot of the buttons not being assigned properly for controller but when you try to move it, it will bug out and try to move the character too. The left stick is for moving the character so the right stick shouldn't also move them. This makes most of the menus annoying since your character will be walking all over while you are trying to navigate them. This is a big issue with loot because you don't auto pick up loot. So when you are in a hostile area after a fight and items drop you have to use the right stick to move the cursor to hover over the item but that is a pain when your character keeps moving and might move into sight of the next enemies so I have stopped playing the game and will wait for them to fix the controller support. Finally there is no button to close the chat in the game and as of the 1.0.1 patch there is a bug that causes the game to launch with the chat window open. On keyboard it will sometimes close on it's own but it used to be able to be closed with ESC and on controller it never closes you have to go back on the keyboard and wait for it close on it's own. NEUTRAL: - For a game where loot is a big part they don't really want you hoarding it or selling it. This might change later in the game and I can be incorrect but for the early game you get maybe 2-10 gold for most loot which isn't that good when you find that much from just killing regular enemies. The game seems to want you to instead break loot down for parts to craft really good weapons. That would be fine except to break them down you have to buy a rune that costs 2000 gold. I'm sure later on in the game this will be easier to afford but currently I have 4000 gold in total and spending it all on 2 runes is not worth it. You have a storage crate in town for items outside your inventory if you want to break them down later but it's limited. You can buy extra space for a 1000 gold but then you might just be better off not picking up most loot and save to buy the rune instead. You can find runes from enemies but they don't drop as frequently but i suppose you could change that by using a loot filter to just get runes but I feel like that's a stupid workaround for a core feature. In this scenario I think a better crafting system would be one where you break down items for materials but you don't spend a lot of gold to do it. It would take more materials though to craft the item you want but then it would make gathering all the loot you see more worthwhile. It's not a game breaker but it does hold it back from being great. The game can be really good at times but I think it needed another few months to add controller support and to fix some bugs. I would say wait a bit to see if they fix things since this is their first game and if they do then buy it.

The monoliths serve as an end-game activity along with a few Dungeons and the arena too. All of which are pretty fun. Skill progression and respecing feel good nothing punishing or unintuitive. you shouldn't even need think too hard or follow a guide to get through your first set of monoliths. Itemization (drops and affixes) and the crafting are so out of whack that they HAD to have a good loot filter. And that loot filter is complex without meta knowledge, by the end game I had 68 different rule sets trying to filter out trash loot and I still didn't have it well managed. Character models and general graphics and cosmetics all look like something from the mid-2000s, controls are a bit clunky, and controller support is laughable. EHG might be a little in over their heads but if they continue to deliver like they have this will be a pretty good game.

I freaking love Last Epoch! It is in my opinion the best from both worlds regarding Diablo 4 and PoE!

Best than D4 and every other arpg at the moment, will give another 10 points for loot filter separately
